D&T Wrecker service was dispatched by my Triple A and the guy who came out and help us was remarkable. He was kind and understanding of our situation and took the time to evaluate our car and he had the tools and the experience to get my husband and me back on the road. I wish I had gotten his name, but I know he was an angel.

They were called out by AAA. But wouldn't move our totaled car without 150 in cash. It was a hot day, my 10 year old had a head wound from hitting the windshield. I should have called AAA and had a different tow person come out but they bank on people in horrible situations willing to do anything to not be stranded along the road after an accident that totaled the car.
I have read AAA doesn't pay them enough and this is why they shake down their customers. That is a problem with the tow company and AAA, it is NOT the customers fault.
I hope you eat well this week, you took our grocery money in your shakedown.

D&T was called out by my insurance company. I am close to 8 months pregnant and had driven off the driveway. My vehicle was stuck about 5 feet off of my claiche driveway. We explained to the driver when he came to not go behind my vehicle or else he would get stuck as well. He didn't listen and got stuck. The company dispatched another tow truck that came about an hour later. That tow truck driver stayed on the driveway and pulled the flat bed tow truck out without any issues. Said that they would get mine next and after speaking to the original driver took off. My vehicle is a half ton and doesn't way nearly as much as there flat bed dually truck. They left me stuck being almost I months pregnant and 15 miles from town. Called there dispatch to explain the situation and spoke to the owner who basically told us that he couldn't help us. The original tow truck driver was upset with us for getting stuck even though it was his own fault.

We had a issue with our brakes while pulling our trailer and we were forced to stop in a small town that we were not familiar with. After realizing we needed a tow to Austin I found D&T after a quick google search. Needless to say they were GREAT! The gentleman that answered was the owner Duane and he was very patient with my frantic questions and sent us a wrecker. The driver Byron was also awesome and listened to my nervous rambling about the situation. Bottom line I would refer to them any day!

D&T Wrecker service was excellent and stress free. I would definitely use them again and again!! I was stranded in the middle of nowhere along I-10 and at 2:30am in the morning. My insurance could not find any one to tow my car, not in bigger nearby city (Austin was 64miles out). I had tried calling different 24hr towing service but only got their answering machine. Untill I found D & T (THANK GOD) They were the only one who answer the phone and were able to tow my car. They came within a short time later and was very polite and took such great care. I would recommend this towing company to anyone! Thank you for your great service!!

D & T Wrecker Service is, hands down, a superior service!



I have had to use wrecker services for my personal vehicles and motor homes on a number of occasions around the nation for various needs. Both AAA and USAA have referred me to D&T in south Texas, so I have had more than one contact with them.



On every occasion, they have been prompt, very courteous, and helpful above and beyond what would have been expected of them. Duane and Thomas have been the drivers sent from their office to me by my roadside assistance services.



I have not met Tina, the lady in the office, but she has always been very courteous and helpful anytime I have called.



D&T Wrecker Service deserves 10 stars out of 5! After multiple contacts with different people in the company, I can only conclude that the negative review is by someone who is unable or unwilling to compete effectively in the market place.



Will I need them again? I hope not, but if I do need such a service, I'll only use D&T Wrecker Service!

I was very pleased with my experience with D&T. The driver, Thomas, was very courteous and pleasant. I would highly recommend this company and they are contracted with AAA so they have been checked out by them.

Worst wrecker driver I have ever encountered. He was rude and hateful. The dispatcher was also rude to us and to the roadside assistance.

The Zumwalts are awesome!! They came and helped us when we had a flat and no tool to get the spare off. I would refer them to anyone who needed a wrecker for any situation. They are fast, friendly and very dependable!!!! Thanks Again
