The original building they started in was a 2500 square foot warehouse - thus the name Oak Warehouse. They had one stain color, about three table styles, and a few entertainment centers. Originally, the store was to be small and a part time venture, but when word of mouth spread, the store grew quickly. By 1996, they had a 9000 square foot store built and added two more family members to take care of their ever-growing client base.In 1998 Jeff Piersma (son-in-law) and Paul W. Bartlett Sr. (son) purchased the store and have been able to grow the business based on the history and relationships built by their parents over the previous years. The store continues to grow each year because of loyal clients - some of which are now into their second generation of furniture purchases.The mission is the same today as it was in the beginning...
