The Minnesota Veterans Homes centers are located throughout Minnesota, including one in Hastings. It oversees and provides various health care services for veterans and dependents at its care centers. It is operated by the State of Minnesota and is a licensed skilled nursing and boarding care facility. The center provides its services to individuals who are veterans, spouses of a veterans and over 55 years old, a resident of Minnesota and entered military service in Minnesota and the individuals who require medical needs. The center s programs are sponsored by various organizations, groups and individuals. In addition, The Minnesota Veterans Homes accepts donations in the form of money, equipment, clothing and personal items.
