My wife and I are motorhomers traveling from Arizona two months each summer in Hatfield visiting family

If you've been looking for a really outstanding soup...look no more, get over to Casey's! The owner prides herself on her soup creations and they do NOT disappoint!



EVERY soup I've tried here has not only been a flavor experience, but has been a poem of beauty in the layers of flavor offered. Clearly, fresh ingredients are woven together in a rich tapestry of culinary delight. So, carefully and artfully prepared as to entrance the pallet, and satisfy the hungry stomach.



Almost all of the meals are well done, the steaks especially will be remembered not only for their tenderness, but also the flavors which melt in your mouth.



The Creamed Spinach is especially a joy, if you like Creamed Spinach, yet are tired of only being served some creamy mass of mush, that is green tinged. At Casey's the Creamed Spinach is creamy, yet the cream does not over-ride the flavor of fresh tasting SPINACH! It is a welcome enhancement to the star of the show...the Spinach!



The Drinks at Casey's need be mentioned too....they are healthy...never have I known them to be stingy with adding their TOP SHELF offerings to any mixed drink...The Irish Coffee will warm you right up in every way possible! Not only is the "Irish" in evidence but the coffee used...tastes FRESH...not like it's been sitting for the past 2 hours or so, during which time it would have began to "break down" and turn bitter! NOT here!



My only disappointment has been that after the last spoonful of soup...the cup or bowl was empty...and my tongue wanted more of it!



This woman never fails to inspire me to play more with my own soup making ability..to think of it not only as a slow cooked meal, but one that I want to layer my flavors so that I too might ascend to her level of EATABLE ART!

This small restaurant offers a large selection of good menu choices at a reasonable price. The servers are friendly, the atmosphere casual, and liquor is available at the bar. No fancy trappings, just unpretentious, delicious food and a comfortable atmosphere in which to eat your meal. Try it - you'll like it.
