I showed a pic of the style I wanted and the lady in the shop at the time said she couldn't do it so I had to wait 30 minutes for another lady to come do it. After showing the new lady (light skinned heavy set)the style I wanted she assures me she could do it. When she first started, the braids in the back were going down not to the side like I asked. I then stopped her and asked her if she was certain my braids will be going to the side and she said yes. So I continued to let her braid. When she started at the top, I stopped her again because I was concerned she wasn't doing it right but she said it was. When she finished I had cornrows going straight to the back instead of the right side being braided towards the left with the left side hanging. I had already paid $140. I told her that wasn't what I asked for and pulled out the picture again. I then phone the owner Fefe who offered to give me a $20 refund and a discount on my next hairstyle. I told her I was not interested in getting another style and wanted my money back. She said I'd have to get my hair taken down right then in order to get my money back and I agreed. From the moment the lady started taking my hair down, I told her not to cut my hair. My head was already sore from getting the braids and she was being very inconsiderate by pulling and yanking the braids out. She did give me my money back. When she finished, she didn't say she was done and turned the lights off while I was still sitting in the chair this is at 2:00 in the morning. She had an attitude and was not happy about having to take it down. I slept all day the next day because I had an excruciating headache. When I woke the next morning, I straightened my hair and that's when I noticed my hair had come out. I had to get it cut because it had thinned out in some parts. I went back to the shop to show them how much of my hair I had to cut off and the owner and her daughter became irate. The owner was making threats and her daughter was holding her back from being in my face. They hot mad when I used profanity and about 3 or 4 of them jumped on me. Horrible business if yo cannot listen to your customers complaints. Charges were pressed. They did all of this while customers were in the shop and I had my four year old son with.
