IntroductionWhat is Embroidery?Embroidery is a high-speed sewing process, by which decorative needlework is sewn directly into a garment. This process is increasingly popular because of its professional appearance and virtually indestructible durability. It is now the application process of choice for most sports shirts, caps, bags, and outerwear.How is Price Determined?Unlike screenprinting, which is priced according to the number of ink colors on a garment, embroidery is priced based on the number of stitches contained in any given design. A small corporate logo, for instance, on a cap or golf shirt, will naturally require fewer stitches than a full-sided logo on a sweatshirt and will be priced accordingly.Most embroidered designs usually contain fewer than 7000 stitches and the prices on our site make that assumption. If your design is larger, the cost will be slightly more but rarely prohibitively so. Any additional stitching costs due to size will be reflected in your final quote/invoice.What is a Digitizing Fee?Digitizing is the process by which our embroidery machines convert your logo or design into a program file. This file is the blueprint for your design. Larger work may incur a small additional fee. The good news is that once the file is created.What is Screen Printing?Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil. The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials which can be pressed through the mesh as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A roller or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink past the threads of the woven mesh in the open areas.Screen printing is also a stencil method of print making in which a design is imposed on a screen of silk or other fine mesh, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance, and ink is forced through the mesh onto the printing surface.
