Provided by YP.comRob and his crew were great! He always showed when he was supposed to and kept us informed during the entire process. His work is beautiful! We have had so many neighbors compliment the stonework and several hired him as well! You won't be disappointed!

Provided by YP.comRob came out and bid our job right away and showed up fo work exactly when he said he would.
Rob has a great knowledge or restoration where we have found no other contractors known what to do.
The work was complete in a professional manor and clean up area as agreed.
Thanks Rob for a good experience

Provided by YP.comBased on my recent experience ( 2014 ), Very unprofessional , rude and lack of knowledge for a so called 'contractor'. I'm talking about a small project, let alone if you hire him for a bigger project. ROB will show up and act like he's the best and knows it all, than do a little or no work and ask constantly for money because he 'miscalculated a few things'. Dishonest & misleading...
-GARAGE SLAB: I called several times department of buildings to check his story and seemed like each and every time he was caught up on his own lies. He'd say it passed inspection when in fact it didn't, as he had to amend the work done. As of today he still can't complete the driveway to meet the codes .Well , do your self a favor and stay away. If a contractor claims to be the best but can't comprehend the plans /codes of a garage slab although the plans are very clear and the building inspectors went over everything with him ( ROB) probably 3 times, chances are he's in the wrong business. If you still decide to hire him and take chances, make sure you DO NOT PAY UNLESS YOU CALL THE INSPECTORS your SELF. I'm sure he got a lesson from me ( won't pay full until he corrects his work), which I'm assuming he can't as he ran as far as he could. Glad this company took its loses . It worked in our best interest! Remember you'll find many others that won't pay full unless you complete what you agreed upon, IN WORKMANLIKE MANNER!
-CHIMNEY POINTING: the work is so POORLY DONE , looks like he cut many corners b/c he doesn't pay professionals to do the work . He makes sure owners are not around when he's working, and 90% of time will show up unannounced (his preferred method to hide his work style, which is basically far from workmanlike manner ).
-DRIVEWAY work : Not sure if I should call it work , as we found only 'dumped ' gravel on our land and he said he'll fix it, but never did!
- STONE cleaning involving ACID: Not only he didn't clean properly and asked us for a toothbrush to clean the corners of the stones (go figure!), but he damaged 2 fireplaces that are permanently installed on veneers by using acid and not covering the F/Ps.....
-PRICING: Cheapest we could get in town .Well, I believe on you get what you paid for, so I'm happy to pay 11,100 instead of what we agreed upon ( $13,600 -this excludes $2500 balance which we''ll never pay as he hasn't respond to amendements needed ) , when compared to $15,500 minimum others asked for the same work. Being cautious gets you very far. I hope this contractor got a good lesson from this!
THE BEST PART -It would cost us cheaper to hire another one and complete the way it should be done & BETTER , than pay $2500 balance to Robert Orr! At the end of the day, a contractor that runs from problems ends up paying for them one way or the other, so it's best to be competent & honest in business! We'll make sure to share our experience with others and our community !
