Haworth Public School, located in Haworth, N.J., enrolls more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade eight. It prepares students through a flexible education system. The school keeps abreast of new technology and the expanding knowledge base, and enables students to work cooperatively in a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment. Students apply problem-solving strategies learned through written, oral, technological and experiential applications in the classroom, through core curricular areas, that include English, mathematics, social science, science, health and physical education, music, art, and French. Haworth Public School encourages all students to participate in extracurricular activities, such as its yearbook, newspaper, student council, and sports, such as basketball, volleyball and football.
