Middle School North is a learning center that provides academic instruction to students in grades six through eight. It provides various athletic activities that include basketball, soccer, volleyball, cross-country, and track and field. The school additionally classes in social studies, art, Spanish, physical education, computer applications, English and science. The school operates a library and media center that offers a variety of print and electronic resources. In addition to band, choir and orchestra, Middle School North provides opportunities to participate in newspaper, yearbook and adventure clubs.
