Provided by YP.comJoanne has groomed my dog for 16 years. His whole life! She is so knowledgeable and professional I always ask Joanne for advice about my dog if something is wrong, even before I call the vet. She always gives me the right guidance. She is a loving, caring, trustworthy, talented and skillful groomer. She always has professional and helpful staff who are conscientious and dedicated. My dog Chewy looks as good today as the first time Joanne groomed him all those years ago.

Provided by YP.comWe have been using Groomingdales, specifically Joanne Bendig for the last 10 years or more. Working with both her and Zelda has been a wonderful experience. They are extremely professional and caring/loving to our two four-legged daughters Sydney and Macie. We trust them completely, they are always on time and do the most amazing grooming we have ever seen! We wouldn't dream of working with any other groomers. We take this choice very seriously as most pet owners know...we only want the very best care for our kids.

Provided by YP.comI have been associated with Groomingdales since 1987. My dog "Bongo" was a customer for nearly 15 years. I was always so thrilled to see the transformation from a stinky, scruffy mongrel to a sophisticated snouser imposter with style....plus, he was a little difficult and the groomers knew just how to handle him, with love. They are simply the best.

Provided by YP.comFor over 7 years Grommingdales has been grooming our pets. We have 2 elderly cats, a poodle mix, a shih tzu mix and a very neurotic chihuahua. I can't say enough about how pleased we have been with their service. Zelda, the office manager, schedules all of our appointments and is always accommodating with any changes I might need to make. And she calls the day ahead to confirm. Remember when your Doctor used to do that. All of the groomers are professional and extremely patient, especially with my older cats and my nervous chihuahua. It gives me such peace of mind knowing my animals are getting the best of care. And what a pleasure it is to deal with a competent and friendly company. I highly recommend Groomingdales to anyone who shares their home with a fury family member.

I have five rescue pups all with their own special issues: fear, back legs that are fragile, skin conditions, etc. The most important factor in a grooming service for me is that of gentleness. Groomingdales has provided gentleness in the handling of my dogs and expertise in grooming various style cuts with A+++++ results. My pups are handled with care and get the best grooming possible. I am very appreciative of the service and convenience of this company. Your dogs don’t wait their turn in a small kennel before or after their haircuts. They are carried to the spotless van and groomed and than carried back into the arms of their owners. This is so much easier on them. Provided by YP.comAfter getting a referral from a friend, I can report that my experience with Groomingdales couldn't have been better. Their staff is prompt, courteous and professional and my puppy came away from his first experience with a darling cut and smile on his face! He knew how beautiful they made him and strutted his stuff! Thanks, Groomingdales. I won't trust my pet to anyone else.

Provided by YP.comI've known the owner of Groomingdales since 1990 and have used their service since I got my first dog (and cat) 20 years ago. The staff is professional, friendly, prompt and has always treated my animals with care and respect. I've used a variety of their groomers and have always been happy with the result. Recently, I adopted an older dog who was unusually skittish about grooming (I can only assume he had really bad experiences with his previous groomer). JoAnne took extra care and brought an additional groomer to be sure that Lucky could be groomed as quickly, gentley and efficiently as possible. The grooming process is no longer as traumatic for my dog thanks to Groomingdales professional and caring touch. I can't recommend their service highly enough. I would never use another groomer.

Provided by YP.comWe've been customers of Groomingdales for a number of years and we've been so pleased with their services. The office staff is friendly and helpful, and Joanne, the owner, is so conscientious and careful when grooming our dog, Charlie. All of her staff have been great groomers, too, whenever we've had someone other than Joanne. They really listen to what you want re the cut and they pay attention if you mention any medical issues with your dog. We can't imagine taking Charlie anywhere else. And with Groomingdales, we don't have to take him anywhere -- they come to us! We can highly recommend them based on years of being happy with their work and their business.

Provided by YP.comWhat a find! Not only do they come to your house or business, all the groomers we were lucky enough to have service our dog were loving, caring and qualified. It was so easy. You can have them come once, once a week, once a month you chose. They always make a reminder call the day before. Could not have been better. Unfortunately we had to put our dog to sleep. The Groomindales management and staff were beyond wonderful to us. Even offered to go to the vet with us. Come on you just don't find service like that these days. When we add a dog to our family for sure we will be calling Groomingdales!

Provided by YP.comWe had Groomingdales groom our 8 year old Chow mix. We requested a puppy cut. First on the phone with the owner and again when the groomer arrived. Instead, of getting the cut we requested, the groomer shaved our dog. I believe that the reason for the shaving was because it was much easier than the cut we requested as our dog has thick hair. Furthermore, after she left, we discovered a large cut on our dog's side that was at least 2-3 inches long. The gash looked like it could have made with a razor. It was very straight, deep and about the length of a razor head. The groomer claimed it was a hot spot that was already there and she just knocked the scab off. Not one person that has seen the cut believes that it was a hot spot due to the shape and depth. It took 3 weeks for the wound to stop bleeding and oozing. And, the cut has left a permanent scar. Lastly, although we were promised reimbursement on 3 different occasions (it was undisputed that we did not receive the cut we had requested) , we have not received anything from Groomingdales, not even an apology. Although the apology and reimbursement would have been nice, the business they have lost due to this incident is my compensation. I walk my dogs at least twice a day in an area that is heavily populated by other dog owners also walking their dogs. And believe me, I do not hesitate to tell the story.
