The Richstone Family Center provides prevention and treatment services for children with substance abuse problems. It prevents violence in families, schools and communities. Incorporated in 1974, the center serves more than 4,500 individuals and their families. The Richstone Family Center s parent child interaction therapy is a research-based program. It also offers treatment option for parents with children between the ages of 2 and 7. The center provides a clinical training program. The Richstone Family Center additionally offers group and family counseling solutions. It organizes parenting and anger management classes. The center also operates club for children. The Richstone Family Center provides the Lawndale School Readiness Program.
