I just got 10,000 direct-mail tri-fold brochures printed and mailed by them and am extremely happy with them. I submitted my own design, got the PDF proof, made one revision, emailed them the mailing list, and they handled everything else: printing, folding, tabbing, mailing. Everything went as smoothly as could be expected, and the print quality is TOP NOTCH! I'm a photographer and designer and have extremely high standards when it comes to print quality, and I couldn't be happier with what I got from Hawthorne Shipping & Printing. Colors and registration are both dead-on, and the glossy text paper stock is of very high quality. The finished brochures look absolutely amazing. So why 4-stars instead of 5? Because they did misquote me on the cost of postage for the direct-mailing service. They increased the quote AFTER the order had already been approved and the brochures printed. But when I informed them that it isn't the right or fair thing to do, they promptly applied a "discount" and took the extra charge off. So no harm done. I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could.
