Dr. Hochfelder was very clear and confident in his diagnosis of the necessity of hip replacement in my situation. I was very impressed with his patience and clarity in answering every one of my many questions. His professionalism and expertise put me at ease. I have gone from walking with some degree of pain in virtually every step, to walking without any discomfort and being able to do most anything I did before. I couldn’t be more pleased with the result or with Dr. Hochfelder.

Dr. Hockfelder was very compassionate and quickly found the problem to fix it. I am well on the way to full recovery.

Dr. Jason Hochfelder is a very confident in what he says particularly when it came to his diagnosis in my case in needing a Total Knee Replacement. He exam the x-rays thoroughly to let me know exactly what needed to be done. He is definitely a very competent surgeon and I felt completely safe and at ease in his hands. I know that he is a very busy surgeon, but wish he could take out a little extra time just talking. What I did appreciate before having the surgery at his office, he allow my adult children have a conference call so they could ask questions about having the surgery since they couldn't be in person because of the pandemic. So all in all he is a outstanding surgeon and I was happy to have him as my surgeon.

I felt that every step of the experience was explained in advance, and that the results were more than I could have expected!

Answered all questions, did not push me to have knee replacement- it was my decision to make, when I was ready.

He is very caring and involved with his patient and very thorough from pre-op and after.

I had total right knee replacement. Surgery was 7:30 AM, I was home by 4:30PM same day. Recovery was even better than I expected. I followed his directions for exercise, icing, relaxing, and pain medication. Walked without assistance by day three, drove after three weeks, have resumed regular activities, move nimbly and without pain, better than during the past five years. Thank you Dr. Hochfelder!!!

First time in a long time that a doctor actually sat and spoke to me regarding my diagnosis. He was amazing with his explanations and with his time.

He works with you. 2 years ago I tore meniscus in my right knee. I didnt want surgery so he sent me to pt which worked until this March when I pulverized a small bone in my knee. He and his surgical assistant Maggie were fabulous. I had a full knee replacement on June 30th and walked out of the hospital the next day. Did stairs a few days later and in 2 weeks I could drive short distances. He is amazing!

Diagnosis and treatment options were thoroughly and patiently explained. Pre-op and intake was organized and efficient. Surgery and follow-up was again remarkable, with every step carefully explained so there were no surprises. PT at home was smoothly arranged.

Great experience all around . The doctor, staff, hospital (Phelps), and staff. Top notch. When it's time I'm going in to them for the other hip. Just not time yet, no rush lol.
