Earlier this fall I began experiencing acute back pain that was making it difficult for me to do my job and even to engage in simple everyday activities. I'd visited a variety of medical professionals, but none was able to relieve my pain. Then, a friend recommended Frank Gresham of The Chronic Pain Center in Springfield. During my first visit, Mr. Gresham identified an imbalance in my hips and recommended a specific stretching regimen and an orthotic. 6 visits and two weeks later, my pain had dissipated and I've been able to resume my normal work schedule and personal activities. For this reason, I highly recommend The Chronic Pain Center.

iThe first thing I noticed about Frank was his friendly smile followed by a genuine how are you. Over a few visits I've come to realize that this first impression was the real thing. Yes Frank is a true, I even hate to say it because it's so often a misnomer, true health care professional. My story is about a 53 year old guy with pain in the lower back that I thought was going to cripple me before I ever reached old age. Frank rewrote my story. He looked me over and said I can help you because I know what you're suffering from. Really, I thought? Over the course of that first visit all of my past doctor and physical therapy visits seemed to melt into the past. becausemakinmusic13 ‎ - Jan 2, 2012 Being a college student with extreme back and shoulder pain was maddening. For the past 6 years, all I have dealt with is pain all over-almost as if someone tied a million knots in my body. Being in college and working, I sit a lot and deal with a great amount of stress that radiates in my shoulders and a tight neck. I also had issues with my hip long ago and had been going to a chiropractor to "fix" it. After going to Frank for just a week and a half, I am now able to work and go to school without pain and the burning sensation I would always get in my shoulders. My neck is not tight anymore and I do not feel the need to go to the chiropractor for my hip as my body realigned itself due to the correct posture, sleep position, and releasing the muscles through trigger point therapy, I am back to normal! Even BETTER than normal. I am so blessed to have Frank in my life to help me get rid of this debilitating pain.

Frank is very compassionate and has a passion for helping people. He used to live in Chronic pain himself so I think that the compassion he has for others in pain stems from understanding where people are coming from! He wants people to feel better and it does not stop in his office. He does video tutorials, helps people on social network sites, and does this all on his own time. If you want someone that knows what he is talking about and has his intentions set for your best interest, I highly recommend him as your pain management doctor!

Having struggled for years with back pain (could be the result of a myriad of experiences), I was very receptive to the recommendation that I visit the Chronic Pain Center. Frank Gresham is a very warm, open person who, while regaling me with jokes and other tidbits, provided invaluable advice as to my incorrect sleeping, sitting, and yes, even standing positions. The decrease in pain level was quite noticeable. I had three subsequent visits with Frank and on each occasion, was so significantly improved that I thank the good Lord for having sent me to the Chronic Pain Center. Now, when I find myself reverting to an old postural habit, I hear Frank in my head and I correct my posture and save myself a great deal of distress. What a blessing! Lesa L.

He educated me on what I needed to do to stop contributing to the pain and then worked on me 3 times. Chronic migraines and back pain completely gone. I highly recommend Frank, he's very professional and really knows the human body and how the muscles function. I will be sending other friends to him. He's in a class by himself.

I had the good fortune in coming in touch with Dr. Frank Gresham and his healing hands. I went to him with chronic shoulder and neck pain. He asked me to brings pictures of how I sit, sleep and walk. I also took pictures of the chair I sit in and took the pillows I sleep with. He checked all the postures. He examined my body for balance and discovered my left leg was shorter than the right leg. He gave me an insert for my left shoe. He showed me how to correct my posture, how to sit and sleep, things we take for granted can really make a difference. He worked on my muscles and I experienced a big change. I suffered from vertigo and headaches for over 20 yrs. I no longer suffer now. HE IS OPEN AND LISTENS TO YOU AND PROVIDES GUIDANCE. JG

Marianne ‎ - Jan 26, 2011 My son had a concussion (from football) in Sept 2010. He started having short term memory loss and intense all day headaches. We went to all kinds of doctors and a Neurologist. Nothing worked. I prayed to find a solution and found Frank at church in Dec. In two sessions, my son was almost pain free. In the third session as my son learned how to sleep and sit in better positions, the headaches completely stopped. Frank helped my son understand how he needs to care for his body as an athlete. Frank is GREAT! I recommend him highly for anyone with chronic pain. You'll enjoy your new life!!

MyCleanseRocks ‎ - Jan 25, 2011 I strained my achilles at the end of August 2010. After spending months working w/a podiatrist w/no improvement, I met with Frank and he immediately identified the root cause of my problem, fitted my shoes, gave me a heel lift, posture lift, had me change sleeping/sitting and corrected my gait. I have been pain free without the meds that the podiatrist wanted to put me on and shoot into me! Every time I meet someone who talks about back pain, shoulder pain, etc, I immediately refer them to Frank - he's great!

Back and Neck pain gone !!! I had been suffering neck/back pain and a limited range of motion for over ten years until I met Frank. He carefully explained/applied his methods and after the first visit my pain improved. After five visits my pain was gone and a full range of motion was restored to my neck and upper back. Frank helped my daughter... When my 6-year-old was being treated for a torn MCL, she had a hard time with range of motion and stiffness in her knee. Even though she's getting a brace, I asked Frank to take a look at her. He worked on her knee just one time and did enough with the muscles surrounding her injury that we noticed a difference the very next day. The swelling was decreased significantly! I'll keep taking her to him as she continues to heal from this injury. He has clearly studied hard to know what he's talking about, and didn't hesitate to take the time to explain both to her and myself just what he was going to do. I was so impressed with not only his medical prowess, but with his demeanor with her, that I don't hesitate to advise my friends to take their kids to him as well. He works wonders, honestly!!

A "must see" if you have chronic pain! I went to see Frank a little over a year after being injured in a car accident. I'd suffered constant neck and back pain, despite seeing two different physical therapists for over a year and trying different pain medications / injections. I met with Frank for a handful of visits and, for the first time, experienced relief. He was a real blessing and I'm so grateful for how he has helped me he is not only a great healer, but he is also a great person and one I highly recommend if you are experiencing any kind of chronic pain

"Tired of limping" Forget all conventional medicine.This doctor is about finding the cause of our pain and making it STOP.Nice to have a professional who understands the different groups of muscles and how they work.I was tired of limping so i saw Frank...after a few minor adjustments{including some shoe inserts}..and braking my muscle memory habbits....i now walk pain free and it has only been 1 month since my visit.This office knows how to assist you with a pain free life.I would recomend him to everyone and anyone who hurts....they will solve your problems honestly and quickly.

BACK PAIN, FINALLY GONE !!!!!! Lots of people seek pain relief and many find no relief; I understand that is well documented. Suffering for weeks with a back pain that caused me to take minutes to stand from sitting and walk slowly and bent over with great pain, my doctor prescribed a variety of pain killers. If the problem continued, he recommended that I see a physical therapist. Having no relief, someone referred me to Frank. I talked with him before making an appointment. He explained his practice. He made no promises. He told me frequently his patients don't need to come back after about five visits. That was indeed my experience. He diagnosed one of my legs was longer than the other (I had forgotten that nearly 20 years earlier a physician's assistant told me that) and a number of movement issues that he thought contributed to my pain. Back Pain Quickly Resolved I suffered from in my upper back and neck for years. It would come and go constantly and was literally a big pain in the neck. After seeing Frank just once I had tips so I could avoid sleeping and sitting positions which were bad for me! My pain has been eliminated and I am so thankful. Vertigo gone!‎‎ Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 By Tortuga Verde Gift Baskets - Jun 5, 2010 Last summer I had suddenly developed vertigo, but had no idea why, I am in my 30s. I went to a general practitioner an ear, nose and throat specialist and I had very expensive tests done on my ears and eyes checking my balance, vision, etc. They found nothing was permanently wrong with inner ears or vision. I went to a chiropractor and that didn't help either, I was still having spinning spells at least 2-5xs a day. Then I met Frank at a BNI meeting where he was giving his keynote. I immediately set up an appt with him and within our 30 min session he explained why I was having the vertigo. I made some minor changes in the way I was sleeping and sitting and my vertigo went away. As well as being a great practitioner, Frank is an amazing person who genuinely cares about his patients. I recommend Frank to anyone how has any kind of pain!‎
