Beauty and the Beast Holiday Inn

Hello! The hotel is beautifully decorated, and is nice overall. But you can tell they need to work out some kinks! I had a late check in and when I arrived I was told the elevators were not working, and my room was on the 4th floor! No help was offred to carrymy bags and I had to carry all my lugage and computer bag up 4 flights of stairs. I had just driven 4 hours from San Antonio. NOT A GOOD START. The rooms are very nice and had all the ammenties I like. The next day I go to get some gas with my credit card and well.. the hotel had placed a $444.00 hold on my account, instead of the company credit card given at the time of reservation. UGG... so now im out of town and I have this hold on my account.



Once I informed the hotel, they did work quickly with me to get it all fixed, but they were not very appoligetic. They were very indiffrent to my situation, which was a bad one. I dont know how they can be so bad at customer service.





I think the hotel building is the beauty and the management and staff is the beast! It is a great looking hotel I hope they get better customer service soon and they do need better care of the pool and whir pool.



I am going to give them one more try at the end of this month, I hope its a better stay. I will report on see if its a better stay.



They could have:

1) helped with bags ... duhhh!

2) been apoligetic for problems

3) offred some type of discount or freebee!
