Best Mexican food in town. The staff is also very friendly.

This place is all together great.. Wonderful service, clean friendly, great menu and down right great food.. We go here alot when we go to Hazard..Can not say enough good things about this place.. JOB WELL DONE...

Very eager, friendly staff. Obviously want to make this restaurant a go. Good salsa, serving it warm is a nice touch. Too many of the chips served with it were tiny fragments. No habanero hot sauce on the tables, which to me is a definite minus. Now to the food. I had the taco, chile rellenos combo with rice and beans. The taco was among the better I've had locally, with lots of cheese. The chile rellenos, however (and this is how I judge ANY Mexican restaurant), was disappointing. First of all, this dish is supposed to be dipped in whipped egg mixture then fried. What I received was completely devoid of batter. This translates to less taste. While they were certainly generous with the cheese, adding ground beef just gave me things to pick out of my teeth later, and detracted from what should have been a sublime subtly fried pepper lightly stuffed with cheese and served with mole sauce experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves chile rellenos.
