We used Good Nuf Boat Rental in 2014 for our family reunion to northern Wisconsin. We rented a ski boat for a week and had a tremendous experience. Everything from start to finish was outstanding.
When we tried to rent another boat for our upcoming 2016 trip, we went right back and contacted Tod, the owner. After a short phone conversation, he told me he would get back to me. We never heard back. I then sent two emails with no response. I then called and left a message...again with no response.
We have found another company to use for our trip, and are very pleased with the customer service and efficiency they have provided us thus far.
Good Nuf Boat Rentals are great when they come through, but good luck getting them to return an email or phone call.

I can't say enough great things about Good Nuf Boat Rentals LLC. We were up at Squaw Lake/Minocqua area the middle of August, our resort did not have pontoons, so our daughter looked for boat rentals for us and found them. Todd was so friendly and helpful when my husband called to get us exactly what we needed. And the price couldn't be beat. Brad met us at the boat landing near our resort, right on schedule, and went over everything to make sure we understood how to run it. He couldn't have been any more warm, friendly and knowledgeable.Plus the pontoon was just as nice as the picture if not nicer. When we returned it again, Brad was right on time.It was pretty sad having to return it since our whole family had so much fun. They and the pontoon made our vacation that much more enjoyable. If you are in the area and need to rent the perfect boat, for a great price, and the great customer service you deserve, call them first! Thank you again Todd and Brad!

This is my first time renting with Tod, but not the last if I come back to the area. Tod was easy to work with and was able to outline the process from top to bottom, setting expectations from the beginning. Also, this is the nicest boat (pontoon) I've rented through many years of renting.

We have rented from Tod for a few years now. Good boat, good communication, great service. As long as we are renting we will be renting from Good Nuf. Thanks guys!

We rented a pontoon for our vacation this week. The boat was clean and ran perfectly. Their delivery and pick up were prompt. Very friendly service. I would definitely use their service again.

Pontoon rental for 3 days - boat was nice, price was reasonable, delivery/pick-up was prompt and they are good people to do business with. Will definitely use them again.

Slow to respond, but quoted a fair price. Once I was able to engage with them, they were responsive.

Tod and the gang at good nuf boat rental were great .Had some miss haps with the electrical system in my rental boat and they came out right away.. Great people to do business with. Just wish they wood call back after the three messages I left to rent this year. 7/2015

We've rented a pontoon from Good Nuf each summer for the past several years. Not only do his rates beat anything in the area, Tod and his staff have provided us great service...truly a pleasure to deal with. We're definitely happy and satisfied customers.

We rented our first boat from Good Nuf -- a 15-foot fishing boat -- over Labor Day weekend and had a great experience. Drop off and pick up at the St. Germain marina was easy and seamless. The boat was in great shape and really fit our needs. We thought the price was fair, and in talking to Up North locals, found they agreed. We'll definitely rent from them again.

We had a great 1st experience with Todd and Good Nuf Boat Rental. We had a great boat all week that we were able to fish and tube with and it just made our family vacation that much better. The delivery and pick up was right on time. We will definitely be returning customers!

Recently I visited Eagle River at the beautiful Wild Eagle Lodge and rented a deck boat from Todd at Good Nuf boat rentals. For decades I have gone up from IL and rented a boat each year, and by far they are the best. Everything Todd spelled out was exact from the quality of the boat, as well as the incredible dependability of the people that work with Todd. In our case it was his nephew who explained everything needed perfectly with knowledge and patience. Good Nuf is run correctly as a Company that in every way is high quality at a realistic cost. I personally would not think of any place else in the future when I am in the Northwoods.

I've got to say that Tod, his entire staff and his fleet of boats are THE BEST. I have been going to the North Woods area for years and I wish I knew about Good Nuf earlier. I have rented from a lot of "the other guys" in the past - usually getting some old tub that looked and felt like it had been through a few wars. Then one year I met Tod and tried Good Nuf. His boats are the best in the area - clean, reliable, newer models loaded with all the features you would expect in a new boat ... his boats perform like they are just off the showroom floor. He delivers the boat directly to you, right to whatever lake you are wanting - and has always met me EXACTLY at the time he said he would be there. He is always available if you have any questions. The rates for these awesome boats are BY FAR the best in the area. If you are going to be needing a boat during your stay in the North Woods, don't even bother looking elsewhere .. Tod has you covered for whatever type of boat you are wanting.

First time renter over the 4th of July week. I have rented boats every summer from different businesses and this was by far the best! Very impressed with the pontoon we rented. It was perfect for fishing and tubing. This was a newer boat with livewell and ski set-up with a front casting platform. To top it all off, you could not touch the price if you tried with free delivery!!! I will rent from them again if they have availability.

3rd year in a row renting a pontoon from Good Nuf Boat, and so far so good. Boats are valued priced compared to others in the Manitowish area. They are delivered and picked up timely with very little hassle. They provided a very through guide in how to properly operate the boat, and what has to be avoided. The required life preservers are provided, which is very helpful as most don't have them if one doesn't own a boat. Common sense comes into play, and if you take care of the boat likes its yours, you will have no problems once its returned.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is a joke and the owner, Tod, treats customers like the enemy. His boats may have been "good 'nuf" when he got them but they get worse every year. Not sure where the money goes that he collects from renters for "repairs" of every little ding because from what I can see it's not going into repairs on the boats. We've rented two boats from him every October for 4 years and Tod's attitude toward us got more combative every year. We became accustomed to doing battle with him over "damage" upon returning the boats each year but viewed it as just one of his quirks. Turns out he's just not a very good businessman. Last weekend we asked to return the boats 1 hour past the scheduled time and he said that would be fine as long as we paid for a full extra day. This was the 2nd weekend in October - my guess is that he didn't have anyone waiting for our boats on Sunday. We returned the boats on time and will never rent from him again. Not a very smart businessman.

Jon was great to work with - the boat was definitely good enough in fact it was great! My family and I were out all week fishing and this really made the vacation something special. I would definitely recommend Good Nuf Boats to anyone.
