Every time I've been here I've waited ATLEAST 45 minutes after taking a number while employees stand around talking and playing on their phones. This is the last time. After I cancel my layaway and get my refund I will not be back. Pathetic.

I had to walk to the other end of the counter to ask for assistance while 2 guys were talking and laughing. Laughed when I asked if they had a gun from the Cabela's website in stock. When I asked if he could order it, he stated "I can't even order a pizza". Cabela's may have guns on their website, but don't expect the store to be able to get it. I spend thousands a year at this store, but will be looking somewhere else in the future.

Provided by YP.comWent to Cabelas a few years ago to check out a down coat I'd seen in their catalog. Couldn't get a single one of five salespeople to wait on me. I went from one counter to another, they kept their backs to me making small talk with each other, even glancing over their shoulders like they were checking to see if I'd left. The last counter I tried, the salesguy was alone but kept his head turned away, making it damn obvious he was ignoring me while I stood at his counter. Until one of the other 3 people in the store approached, then the jerk literally leaped past me to help him. At that point I was ready to start knocking over displays so I just left. I know there was something going on with those idiots when the gal at the front register mockingly said "Thanks for stopping by" as I stomped out. I dunno, maybe my being dressed in business casual freaked them out, because the other customers that particular night looked pretty much like unshaven rednecks wearing various bits of camo. Dunno and don't care. I'd wasted at least an hour driving to the place and waiting around, not to mention 20 miles of driving, just for some juvenile idiots to play games with me. After that I tossed their catalogs without looking at them, and sometime a couple years ago they quit sending them. Hope it's because they cut advertising costs due to declining income. They can rot for all I care.
