my son goes to helpinghands ever since he was 3 i,m seeing a whole new person now then when he started. when he first met with the staff he would only say [it,s a good day] when he could do things that he knew or understood what they were saying to him. then if he didn,t or couldn,t do somethings he would say[ it,s not a good day] he never said yes or no. well he came along way baby as they say. he goes to the preschool class 5 days a week for 2 hours and you would never know how happy he is that he can talk to other kids and people now. i cannot express my feelings enough for all the help they gave him. he was born with a speech problem, were he knew what you were saying but he could not say words that you or i could understand. today he still has some problems but not the way it use to be. please if any parent sees or feels that there might be a problem with their child do your child that helping hand and have the staff see them, they,ll evaluate and tell you what they think your child might need.
