Provided by YP.comNeeded some testing done and this urgent care is a MUCH better alternative to the ER! was truly impressed with the low wait and cost, as well as with the considerate treatment from both the doctor and the staff. Will be coming again for all my medical needs and i definitely recommend to all looking for a low cost and efficient ER alternative.

Provided by YP.comI went there for a laceration. Simple, clean it, stitch it, give a tetanus shot, and a antibiotic. WOW I was wrong. The staff didn't have any idea of where half the items were. The nurse practitioner didn't seem to have a clue as to how to stitch. She did a running stitch as if she were hemming a pair of pants. Her first stitch, she did not pull all the way through and tied it off just behind the needle, therefore rendering the rest of the thread useless. Had to get a whole new kit. She reached the part with a flap and she wasn't sure how to stitch it. Ended up gluing it and securing it with steri-strips. They weren't going to give a tetanus shot. I went to my family Dr and he was appalled by the work. She was not able to get me numbed up to do the work. I could feel the meds running out the wound. I just told her to stitch it to get it over with. She ran two betadine swabs across the wound, never cleaning it inside. It was deep enough you could see tendons and fatty tissue.

Provided by YPmobileHaving moved to the area, and not having a family doctor, I had used this office a few times for minor routine issues. The experience I had in the beginning was a good one. However, when I really need them, the service was dismal. I went after work on a Saturday in respiratory distress. I was refused treatment because they said that I owed them $70. Never mind that I had never received a bill due to the fact that-acknowledged by the receptionist- they had my billing address wrong. I had no way to make a payment at that time, so they refused to treatment me . Upon leaving the office I had to call 911. I was rushed by ambulance to Licking Memorial Hospital. The doctor in the ER was shocked when I told him that Family Urgent Care refused to see me. I had to have five breathing treatments at LMH. What really bothers me is the fact that the doctor and nurse on duty at the family care never approached me to see if I was okay. They just stood there and watched while I dealt with the paper pusher. Medical professionals swear an oath to help people in medical need. Not so at this office.

Provided by YP.comGreat experience.I had to attend urgent care early on a Sunday morning because of problems from a chest infection. I arrived at just before 10am, parked straightaway and only waited 25 minutes to be seen. The nurse who attended me was very thorough and I did not feel rushed at all.
