Negative environment, overloaded teachers and unprofessional management. NO accountability! -5 stars!

After scaling up to Full Time, my 18mo child was reported to begin showing 'aggressive behavior' and I was told he was being put in a crib or a highchair for several minutes afterward, given a scolding until he cried, all in the name of 'protecting the other kids'. In the beginning, it was always 'we didn't see what happened, but...' When I was approached with the issues getting severely worse over the course of 2 weeks, I was given a letter of dismissal, blamed for the behavior and asked to leave. They refused to refund the remaining half of the month that was prepaid and harassed me by threatening my private business when I left a review elsewhere. Knowing my child, receiving opposite feedback from our babysitter, church nursery and in speaking with other parents, it was apparent that this is an issue that is common and while they refuse accountability, is not going to change. No wonder they always have openings and the short staff is strategically scheduled for drop off/pick up times.

Do not enroll your children here, IF you are a concerned parent that loves your child. If this is the same daycare as the one that was ran out of Francis Utah, it is a horrible establishment, children are left unattended for hours, strangers are permitted to pick up your child, children are locked up by themselves for half hour periods while being put in 'time out' and the curriculum lacks all structure. A much better choice would be about anything other, but if Sunny day is still in business, put your child there, do NOT make the grave mistake of enrolling your child at Back to Basics.
