With clients ranging from small industrial facilities to major nuclear power plants, Radiation Safety Associates is a full-service health physics consulting firm. The company has provided training or other services for virtually all of the nuclear utilities in the United States, as well as the major reactor and nuclear fuel suppliers such as Westinghouse, General Electric, Combustion Engineering (now Asea Brown Boveri) and Babcock & Wilcox. In 1988, the company purchased the professional journal, Radiation Protection Management, and established RSA Publications. RSA Laboratories, a radioanalytical and instrument calibration company licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and certified by the state of Connecticut, was created in 1994. Radiation Safety Associates was incorporated in 1981.
