Waitress Steals Money from Customers

I went to the Hayloft with some of my friends after we had been to a friends funeral service. I had 2 drinks and my total bill was $4.40. I left the waitress $1.60 tip on my debit card, so my total was $6.00 all together. I checked my bank account online a few days later and found out that the waitress had put a $15.00 tip on my debit and my total was then $19.40. I called the Hayloft right away and told them my problem. They were busy, so they took my number and told me the manager/owner would call me back. I never heard back. To make a long story short, I called back 7 times over the course of the next few days and still never spoke with a manager/owner. Finally, a guy named Chad who worked there said that they would mail me a check. (I live in Athens and so it would cost me $15.00 just to drive up to Helen) It has been over a month and I still have not received any money. It would not be a big deal except for the fact that I am a college student and every dollar counts for me. The fact that a waitress at the Hayloft would steal from me and nobody would do anything about it really pisses me off. I would advise others to not go here because the waitresses and the management for that matter, can NOT BE TRUSTED! You might get more than $15.00 stolen from you with the people they have working there (Heather still works there because I called today to try to speak with the owner and she answered and said he wasn't there). Also, the management wont do anything about it, which makes me the maddest of all. With the way the economy is right now, it is a shame that you can't go have a drink with some friends without worrying about whether or not you can trust your waitress.
