We LOVE this place! We boarded our 4 and eight pound Malteses here very warily, because the last time we took them to a kennel, my four pounder had lost 1/4 of her body weight and no one noticed. She also was very ill; NO calls! At Dogwood she did great, didn't lose any weight, and has never hated going back. The staff watched her closely and knew how she was eating and acting. We feel SO HAPPY to find Dogwood Lodge.

They've been great with my animals, flexible with alternative pets, and very convenient to my home. I highly recommend them.

Jim Bingham is a great guy who always has my dog coming home happy and healthy every time! He really cares about the animals and tends to them himself. I especially love his daughter, who gives the animals the extra love and playtime they need.

We have been going to Dogwood Lodge for years. One advantage is that it is a family owned / run business without a ton of employees. Our experience is that kennels with fewer workers and less employee turnover means better, more consistent care. You can trust these guys to be reliable and see to special needs like medications etc. Dogwood Lodge continues to please and get our vote!

This is the best place in Helena to take your dogs. I have 3 characters and sometimes we have people take care of the dogs at our home. The come home so much happier when we take then here. I highly recommend the place and I don't worry about my animals when I am gone.

For years we have been able to rely on Jim to take great care of the furry members of our family. We are always greeted by name, and I swear our dogs like Dogwood Lodge better than home. They always go above and beyond the call of duty. Having boarded our pets at other kennels, we have truly found home with Dogwood Lodge and will never take the hounds anywhere else!

I love Dogwood Lodge....My Lab just loves going in there. That wagging tail starts when we pull up. He goes and looks for Jim (the owner)....I would recommend Dogwood Lodge to anyone and do actually. We have taken our dog there since he was a puppy....WE LOVE THIS PLACE :):)

I love The Dogwood Lodge! My dogs do, too. They love going there. It is always very clean and in good order. I never worry about my pets while they're there. (and I'm a worrier). The owners are very attentive to the animals there and also quite personable. I highly recommend this kennel, far over nearby Guardian Kennels, which I'd never use.
