The Employment Relations Division is administered by the Department of Labor & Industry, a part of the Montana State Government. The Employment Relations Division offers a range of management services that includes budget development, information technology planning, and business process, statistical, fiscal and management analysis. It also offers administrative and clerical support services, as well as develops, implements and maintains a computerized database. The division s human rights bureau offers technical assistance, case resolution and investigation of complaints related to discrimination. The Employment Relations Division also provides arbitration, unit determination and clarification, and interest and grievance mediation services. Its safety and health bureau promotes workplace security and well-being through inspection, consultation and awareness training. Additionally, the department handles and maintains a record of uninsured employers' funds, insurer compliances and workers' compensation claims. The Employment Relations Division maintains one of its offices in Helena, Mont.
