roach infested. Will take anyone in. Took a year and a half to get rid of the people above me who basically bread roaches. Had someone try to break in my sliding door while sitting there. Sliding door locks don't align and they told me there was nothing hey could do. That door is held shut by a piece of 2x4.

Chapelwood has an absentee landlord and has gone through more managers than is reasonable in anyones book in it's lifetime. Their charging current market prices for property that is sub-par and that's saying it nicely. I don't look for any real changes until or unless it gets a new owner, and that's wishful thinking. It had it's hay-day but now it's just run down. Roofs, water/sewer lines, termites are all a problem here as well as most apartments need new carpet & painting. I've known people who live in the housing projects and can say their properties where taken better care of than Chaplewood is.

Chaplewood is a 34 yr old property that's changed owners a couple times, management companies 3 times and we had more managers and maintenance people come and go than I care to remember. Group 3 Property Solutions now manage the property. Their intensions may be good but the property is in desperate need of repair. Unless REAL repairs are made in the near future this property has little hope of competeing in the local housing market.
