A gem in a poor rural community. High energy, experienced talented staff with large studios. My grand daughter has been there for several years and has learned so much and exceeded my expectations.

It is unfortunate that there are not more options for kids in the Vance County area. This option has slightly better instruction; however, a much more negative environment. The other option has a much more positive environment with a slightly lower level of instruction. Both are basically recreational, plastic trophy hunting programs for kids. Not properly trained instructors to train and prevent injury. If you have the option of traveling to a reputable company in the Wake Forest or Raleigh area, then travel. If travel is not an option, so sorry. Experience with both options in the area . . . it is your choice. This is as honest as I can be while not wanting to bash anyone.

This is our first year here at Ballet Arts and so far we are very pleased with my daughter's classes. She is getting excellent instruction and learning the correct technique she lacked in her last dance school. What sold us on coming to Ballet Arts was their beautiful Web-site and their "Recital" last May; my daughter's friend takes at BA so we were asked to support her at the recital. We did not expect such a professional, entertaining and enjoyable experience; it was like musical shows I have seen in Raleigh and Atlanta. Great job Ballet Arts!
