The reviews are spot on the minute my mom and I came into the store a white older looking lady was giving us attitude and when we asked questions she got defensive. If this is how they treat right as we walked into the store I can only imagine what it's like after you purchase something from them. Oh and as we were talking to the lady we heard behind us a man complaining about the service. Needless to say we left and didn't buy anything. Thank goodness I looked over the reviews and DID NOT do business with them.

I wish I would have read the reviews first!! Famous last words!! This place gets a BIG ZERO!! When you pay over 2,000.00 for couch, you think it would come with correct pieces, and that the pieces would be in working condition. Two deliveries later, we still have a broken chase, that that say is a design problem with the manufacturer, yet they REFUSE to refund our money because they know damn well it wouldn't get spent at their store. Customer service is a Joke, they hang up as soon as they hear it's us calling, the manager is a POS that does not return calls. SAVE YOUR MONEY PASS THIS STORE UP!!!!!

I get it... Errors happen, but this many!!!
I bought a mattress and a 4 pc bedroom set. I got the wrong mattress and only 3 pieces as apparently the chest was not included in the already high price and the sales person didn't think to clarify that. So, since I needed additional storage I opted to purchase a 2nd nightstand at a decent price instead. They brought a new matress the next day- again, the wrong size and forgot the newly purchased nightstand. So, I ended up with nothing on delivery attempt #2. Delivery #3, correct mattress... NO nightstand. They keep apologizing but I dont WANT an apology I want what I paid for and I wanyt it 3 days ago! Tomorrow will be delivery attempt #4. 4!! Seriously? My husband told them he would go pick it up himself and save the risk of them screwing up again, but they "dont do that". If it's wrong again they WILL be taking ALL of their furniture back and giving me my money. Absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had. Save your time & money!

I wish i had never gone there to buy my loveseat. They delivered the wrong color and will not fix their mistake. The colors were as different as night and day! Also the drivers who delivered it said they were thirsty and my husband offered them water and they said no they wanted beer! My husband told them to get out!

I wish that we could give a big fat ZERO. This place is the absolute worst furniture store in town. I would NEVER recommend buying from this place. We bought a sofa 6 weeks ago and were told it would take 4-6 weeks. We were informed our fabric was back ordered and would be in on the 14th. When we called on the 15th to make sure our fabric came in they said 'oh your fabric is back ordered until the 30th OF THE FOLLOWING MONTH!!!' Was anyone going to call and tell me?? After days of arguing and complaining they allowed us to reselect the fabric. We went in and deselected the fabric and the sales guy that helped us the second time drew our sofa incorrectly. So that threw a wrench in things. We said 'no we want the original layout with the new fabric'. They kept arguing saying 'that's not what the new order said'. I get that but that's not what we want!!!!! So we get that figured out and then they call and say good news we got your new selected fabric in stock and ready to go. Great! How long will it take? We need to get back to you. They never can tell you anything on the phone. They have to always check with one of many people. So then they call back and say we can get your original fabric and it will only be 4 more weeks. That's now 6 weeks. But we said okay we want the new fabric tho. Well that sofas gonna take longer. HOW?!?! The new fabric is available now and the original fabric is back ordered yet it's gonna take longer somehow?? 'Well sir we don't know how the manufacturer operates'. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NEVER SHOP HERE

Went today looking for a bedroom set. The guy was worst than aa used car salesman. He tried to sell some stuff, took my fingernail across the set and the top layer came off. Really. And when we said we were just looking Asked where the set was made and he said overseas, I said not in North Carolina where the best is made and where we are from, and he say "nothing is made there anymore" WRONG! We ran!

Stay away from this place. We bought $2,300 worth of furniture. When they delivered it one of our dressers was damaged, we returned and they told us we'd get another in two weeks. When i called after 2 weeks, they kept transferring me to customer service where no one ever answered the phone. I left three messages and no one ever returned my call. We drove to the store to check on the status and the salesperson didn't have a clue about what we were talking about. The girl in the front called the customer service and they told us it's on its way and someone will call us and let us know. I didn't get any calls, I tried calling again, they told us they will deliver it on Tuesday between 1 and 6 pm. On Monday May 12, I got a call and they left a message that they will deliver at 1 pm. They're still not here, I tried calling them again and there's no way to get someone on the phone from customer service and their voice mail is full so there's no way to leave a message. They are very rude and unprofessional and I wish I could give them zero stars, but I will contact the Better Business Bureau.

Please don't put yourself through what me and my wife have been through with Big's. I wish we had taken the advice of other reviews and not gone there. Here us why I wouldn't shop there:



* Ken the sales manager is a bare faced lier. The salesman told us our couch would take 8-10 weeks to arrive. Ken stepped in said he was the manager and that he would get it for us in 6. Lies. It took twelve.



* it took 4 weeks after our order for us to find out the fabric we chosen had been discontinued. This only happened because we called bigs ourselves form an estimated delivery date. Bigs new but nobody ever called us to tell us we had to choose another fabric. When we questioned this, we were told messages had been left on our voice mail. Lies. Even though bigs confirmed the correct cell number back to us.



* they never return calls.... Period!



* they customer service manager is part time



* every week we called we were given a different production date for our sofa. They kept telling us lies to fob us off for another week.



Long story short, they lie to get your money then they lie about how long delivery will be and then they keep feeling lies. How these people sleep at night I don't know.



YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! It not worth the stress to save $100 compared to their competition. Somebody needs to shut theses crooks down.

Wish I had read all these reviews before ordering my coffee table. Totally frustrating and unprofessional. The order was placed on 2/27 with the delivery promised in 2 weeks. A month later, no table and no update. Call them and same answer as stated in some of the reviews here "don't know where it is... will call next week" and no correspondence after that. 2.5 months later, after many calls inquiring about my order, the table finally reaches home. Disappointment again... they delivered a damaged piece, completely scratched and missing supports. I called their customer support immediately who convinced me to keep it till they send the new one. She also assured me that based on the pics that I send her, they can work out on giving me a discount. As usual, no response for weeks, no response to email. Called them again 3 weeks later to be told that the table has been reordered. I still haven't received my reordered table and it is 6/29/2013 today. I am tired of their promises of calling me back around noon the next day after finding what happened to my order. Every request to cancel the order and refund my money is ignored with more promises.



Jul 3rd 2013... arrives the reordered coffee table which was completely rusted. I sent it back per instructions from their customer service with promises of calling me back on Friday (7/5) to discuss my options. She had agreed when I refused to reorder it again. As usual, no calls, no updates. Today (7/8), when I call... same story... no idea... manager not available....

Upon being persistent, the call was transferred to the same person who spoke to me on last wed. This time, she tells me that the table has been automatically reordered and that I will have to pay restocking fee if I ask them to cancel it. Most frustrating retail experience ever.

My husband & I recently purchased $800 worth of living room furniture first time it arrived our loveseat was damaged from it looked as if they pulled it across the ground with no regards to damaging it. Called and emailed pictures heard nothing from them for a week I called back and they tell me that it's at their store we got it delivered only to have their staff have greasy hands and mark up the new furniture not even a month later the sofas arm broke and I called spoke with staff no manager available ever okay we will look into it before I knew it a month went by never heard back my husband got very upset and called them demanded this be handled got the run around for few hours finally someone called says they ordered a new sofa they will have it next week called us once it was in they'll deliver it Thursday never showed my husband called they said oh well you need to pay $50 for delivery of new one we've filed a complaint with BBB. If you need furniture DO NOT GO TO BIGS however there is a company out of Colorado called American Furniture we moved from Colorado to Las Vegas and wish we would've ordered from there they'll even deliver all the way from Colorado and we are very disappointed in the choices of furniture here and the service received from Bits save yourself trouble and hassle don't go to them...

I wish I could have given NO STARS. Although I am not familiar with the Big's location in Henderson, I am familiar with the one in northwest Las Vegas. On Craig and US 95. The reviews are the same let me tell ya. We purchased a couch and ottoman set for 2100 back in November. It came sooner than expected and we were originally excited. Then came delivery day. First the wrong pillows. Then the delivery guys had the brilliant idea that taking the plastic covering off one of the pieces, would make it fit easier through my doorway. They damaged the hell out of it and took it away. We had to pay the last 75 dollars on the balance for them to even take the piece off of the truck. So we basically paid them to scratch our couch. After an endless amount of phone calls to get the correct pillows, a portion of a refund for all this inconvenience, and get the center piece re-ordered, we continued to get the run around while speaking with different employees. We were told that we could exchange the wrong pillows for the ones we wanted that were on the floor model. Apparently, they think using pillows that everyone has sat on is no big deal. That's just disgusting. Then we were told, Why didn't you just keep the scratched piece? Apparently, they don't mind sitting on damaged sh**, regardless of how much you paid for it. So here we are, two weeks later. They call this morning 1/3/13 not to tell us their on their way with the new piece and correct pillows, but to tell us that the center piece is scratched worse than the last piece was. They have no idea how it got damaged during transit, cant guarantee that the next piece wont be scratched when its delivered in another week. Cant explain how bad its damaged, but they want me to keep the piece until the next piece arrives. So MORE inconvenience of moving stuff in, moving stuff out, risking more damage from their IGNORANT AND INCOMPETENT delivery divers/movers. They wont let us speak with the manager, (they'll relay the message for us). This WHOLE THING HAS BEEN A F-IN JOKE. SOOOOOOO UPSET. WHAT A NIGHTMARE ! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. HOPE THEY SHUT THEIR DOORS.

dont waste your money. If you ever have.issues with ur furniture they BS you why they cant get to it or resolve your problem. They are very rude everytime you try to get answer. Bottom line this place SUCKS !!!!!!!

The most maddening experience I have ever gone through!! Purchased furniture Memorial Day with the promise of 1-2 weeks for delivery. Almost Labor Day and no furniture. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service!! They are rude and never fllow through calling back, I seriously have had to borderline harass them to get any information. The supervisor was the worst. I finally requested a refund 8 days ago and it still has not shown up on my account. I was told they had to check with accounting and call me back. OF course NO CALL. So I had to call and was advised it was "take care of" whatever that means. I have never hired a lawyer for anything but my frustration level is so high dealing with these people that I advised them I will be talking with a lawyer if I do not see my money within 48 hours. Long story short avoid this business at ALL costs. P.S. I wanted to give this place NO stars but it wouldn't let me.

BE AWARE!!! I ordered all of my furniture from BIGS and i paid the total price in full by cash. I had a order date and they delivered 1 small item with no call ahead of time. I am still waiting on all the other furniture to be delivered and it has been over 1 month. This is not a reliable furniture place. If you want good customer service and honest sales people go somewhere else. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM.......

I agree with the other reviews. Rachel is an unprofessional biotch. Half our order was delivered on time an I am happy with it. We were originally told 1-2 weeks for delivery. It has now been 4 weeks and we are still waiting. I have been told several times that they will check on it and call me back. They never call back I always have to call them. Rachel rushes you off the phone like it's an annoyance that you have the audacity to want to know what is going on. This is the first time we have bought brand new furniture and it has left a very sour taste in my mouth. I will never shop at Big's Furniture again and I strongly recommend you avoid them at ALL costs. Seriously! Pay more somewhere else it will be worth the time and frustration you save yourself.

Bought a $2000 living room furniture at Bigs in October 2011. April 2012 the furniture was wearing badly. Contacted Bigs. They said they would try to work with the manufacturer. 6 weeks later and nothing. They claim the furniture will be delivered in another 2 weeks. Third time they extended the replacement. Now they said they can't do anything and if I want the furniture replaced I have to try to work through the manufacturer. Rachel at Bigs furniture is the customer management supervisor. Rachel should take classes on what customer service entails. She is completely useless. DO NOT buy from Bigs.....they don't stand behind what they sell.

If i could leave no stars and a big pile of pooh. more describes my feeling.This place is terrible Eli the sales manager is a rude liar would never shop here again they don't stand behind what they sell because they know its junk. they could not even deliver it with out breaking the bed frame and then tried to cover it up did not see until delivery guys left when went back to store was told it was not noted on delivery to bad. I'm new to area so don't know many people yet but everyone i meet will know where not to go !!!!

If you are looking to get the worst customer service then come to Big's. The transaction for the sale was smooth. I am a straight shooter and the sales person ELI got right to the point and finished the transaction. He promised a Friday delivery which never happened. Rather than getting a call from Big's about my furniture being delivered on time I had to keep on calling them to see when I could expect my furniture.



Furniture shows up on Saturday and they delivered a table to me without any screws! The delivery men couldn't put the table together because it was missing pieces. I called right away to the store to be told that basically " I had to deal with it. They would arrive by Monday with possibly some screws, but in the meantime the table had to remain where they had placed it." They had placed the table and its pieces on my hardwood floors. They wanted me to leave it on the ground for a few days while they brought the remaining pieces for the table.



The assistant manager kept on telling me that he wanted to make it right but never acted on anything. Two days to get screws from Home Depot? I asked him why couldn't the delivery truck go get some screws and he said that it wasn't their job. I would just have to wait because there was nothing they could do.



Well there was alot they could have done but the difference was that they did not WANT to do. Huge difference. The staff at Big's is inept and I refused the delivery of the table. I have requested a refund and they better believe that I will be on them until I get my money back. Otherwise it will be the Better Business Bureau and Small Claims court should it get to that.
