In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Today, we continue their mission at every Black Bear Diner across the country, as we passionately provide guests an outstanding experience. Our menu offers comfort food classics, and our entire menu is offered all day long. Whether you are craving pancakes at 8 pm or pot roast at 8 am - we've got something for everyone. Enjoy your meal in our family-friendly, cabin-themed diner with our welcoming staff or order to enjoy in the comfort of your home.

I don't know what any of these people are talking about every time I go there is a line out the door for breakfast and the food and service are always outstanding. The two people that wrote these bad reviews must be out of there mind. If it was so bad why would so so many people be there every time I go which is a least once a week.... liars they are in my opinion. It's definatly one of the best if not the best breakfast lunch and dinner places to eat in Vegas. Try the oj which is fresh squeezed to order . It's funny how people try to sully a reputation of a truly outstanding place to eat.... black bear is a fine restaurant that anyone would enjoy

Disgusting! My kids and I got food poisoning from eating there. We went there for lunch last night and ordered the Cheeseburger Salad and my daughter a bacon cheese burger, and well it's 4 in the morning the next day and we're still in the bathroom vomiting and having strong stomach pain from it Definitely never going back again!!!!

This was one of the worst meal. I have ever had in a restaurant. The omelet was dry and scrambled, My potatoes had bell peppers in it as large as a quarter, green and red peppers. After I removed all of the extra large peppers, I could see the potatoes were very burned and not edible. The biscuit was about 4 (four) inches tall and the white gravy was like paste. I plan to never go there again. I took my husband for Father's Day and he said the only thing that was good was the lemonade he ordered and I agreed with him. I do wish I had taken a picture of the meal, but I was so disappointed I didn't want to talk about it, let alone take a picture.
