I have been going to this office since 2000. I saw Dr Gothelf as a child. I saw Dr. Sutton until she left, then Dr. V was her replacement, and somehow I ended up getting pawned off on their practitioner Ginger Lane. This lady is friendly, but is a failure in all aspects of her job. She has made so many mistakes in her diagnoses over the past few years. She diagnosed my foot injury from hiking as a fungal infection. When she sent me to a specialist, he laughed at me, and told me he couldn't believe she could make that mistake. She also made another misdiagnosis that made me end up at St. Rose Hospital and cost a lot of money. The doctor there didn't understand why she prescribed me the medication she did. She also makes mistakes on writing prescriptions quite often causing a delay. There were several other things that bothered me like running unnecessary tests and sending me to specialists that were not covered by my insurance. Over time her mistakes were too much, I lost trust in her. Just be careful if you are seeing her, because she may make a stupid mistake with you or your family member.

My first visit ever to the practice. I showed up on time and waited an hour and half. the doctor never came. this practice is far to busy to be of help to anyone.

This has been my doctor since 2008. I called the office and told the receptionist that I was laid off and wouldn't have insurance as of the end of December 1012. I am an insulin-dependent diabetic. Was again told "I'll put you through to the referral department". What? I called 6 weeks prior to the end of my insurance and they can't get me an appointment? Not the first time, I was connected with a voicemail messge that said they would return my call within 24 hours. I missed the call and called back within 30 minutes and again asked to be transferred to the women who returned my call, that I needed the information asap. Left the voice mail that she had just called and please call back asap. Two days have gone by and no return call. This doctor has been very good in supplying sleeping pills - I could do a street business with how many I have, but I need insulin, heart and cholesterol meds to last me for the (hopefully) new job I get. Last time was there I saw his PA...felt really put off. So disappointed. This was a very good practice, but think he's either, greedy or too overbooked for the office to handle. Guess I'll have to go on Medicaid. Beware....

As a former patient of DFM:GV i leaver them very disappointed. on more then 3 occasions i found my self 15 mins. early to an appointment only to wait in the waiting room for over 2 hours, then i finally was placed into a room to only wait another hour....NO APOLOGY or RESPECT OF MY TIME.Being recently hospitalized with renal failure that had gone undetected by my primary care physician (Desert Family Med) i missed ONE appointment and did not call to cancel. However to my defense my primary care was "aware" i was in the hospital.i got the papers yesterday saying that i have been terminated as a patient... i'm still in renal failure and in the hospital.be ware.

I have been a patient here for the last 5 years. Dr Sutton and the staff have been fantastic. The staff are SO busy, yet take the time to help and answer questions all the time. Dr Sutton is one of the most caring doctors I have ever had. She always listens and really helps find the solution or knows the correct meds to take. I really appreciate all them.

Dr. Sutton is very nice and took the time to listen to what was going on with me. The nurse was also just as nice. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Everyone was nice and Dr. Sutton is amazing and great. She knows what she is talking about and is more than willing to help.

My family and I have been patients of Desert Family Medicine of Green Valley for about 8 years now. My husband and son see Dr. David Gothelf and my daughter and I see Dr. Jennifer Sutton. When I found a lump in my breast a few years ago, Dr. Sutton and her staff handled the diagnostic process and coordination of subsequent treatment in an extremely professional and compassionate manner, leaving me with no dought that I was getting the best treatment possible. This is a very small and busy medical office who treat their patients as very big, important people.

this dr was awful, I went to them specifically because he is a DO, spent five minutes with me, prescribed me two medications - when I went to get off a specific med - all he did was give me a different one. After reading up on the medications, turns out they are contraindicated. I will not be 1) taking the meds adn 2) going back. On the other hand I found the receptionist very nice and accomidating

I agree that the receptionist is not the nicest person but Dr. Sutton and Dr. Gothelf are great. They have always taken the time to sit with me and explain everything and answer all my questions.
