Provided by YP.comThe best place for child care in the Las Vegas, Henderson area bar none.. The teachers are attentive and caring providing a safe and easygoing environment that aids in children learning.
I have searched all of the local childcare facilities in the Henderson area and the quality of this establishment carries over in every interaction I have with my children.
Thank you Kiddie Academy!

Provided by YP.comThey are awesome at Kiddie Academy. They are all about the children. They are always offering different activities for the kids to participate in. Every year they have a themed graduation for the older kids. There staff is friendly and caring. My thirteen year old went there when she was two years old. She still loves going there to visit the teachers because she has a bond with alot of them.

Provided by YP.com@geli1578- I find your review very inaccurate and misleading. Your grammar and spelling typos lead me to believe that you are not very educated and a bit ignorant. For starters, the director does not have 'daughters'. She does have children and they attend school until mid-afternoon, when she leaves to pick them up, everyday, without fail, like a good parent does. She is also onsite from 6:30-7:00 am until she leaves to get her kids, and a large percentage of the time she brings them back to the daycare with her. As for alleging that one of the teachers sat and watched a child fall and cry without helping him/her, I find that to be a gross exaggeration. As a parent, we all know that kids fall and often times they get up and shake it off, and if you don't want your child to be a nervous nellie, you have to let them fall down on their butts and get up and move on without a super big deal being made out of it. As for a teacher using a rag to clean a child's hand after wiping a table, that is completely permissable- it';s finger paint, not food. Big difference. Finally, your accusation about a teacher dragging a child to the floor is quite frankly disturbing. I have never witnessed such, and I know for a fact that if that indeed happened, the director would fire said employee on the spot. I am defensive about this because I know that there aren't any filters when it comes to writing reviews, and one can say anything- for all anyone knows you could be someone who was asked to leave the daycare for non-payment or a bitter ex-employee being vindictive. The reality is, you can be anyone other than you state. I have known the director for 30 years. We babysat together for the kids on the block when we were teenagers. Additionally, the director's mother is also an employee and I spent many an afternoon playing at her house, having sleepovers and being babysat by her, and she was nothing less than a second mother to me. She was also my girl scout troop leader. Suffice it to say I know the family very, very well.I have spent a significant amount of time on the daycare premises and have never witnessed anything remotely like what you are describing. In my opinion, it is a super-laid back, fun environment where the children are well-taken care of and thrive. Additionally, I am a financial advisor for the company. I know how many people in this economic landscape do not pay on time, have bounced checks and are way behind on tuition. As much of a strain as it puts on the company, and against my advice as to asking the the director to ask the parents to remove the child from the facility based on non-payment, the director refuses to do so, because she doesn't have the heart. And there is nothing keeping any of the clients who owe money from walking away from a 2K tab. Lastly, if other parents witnessed what you allege to have seen, do you think they would bring their kids back day after day? Come on know...no one would. So I believe that you are very mistaken in your impressions, and I suspect that there is a deeper issue here...just my humble opinion. I highly recommend Kiddie Academy in Henderson, should anyone care to ask me for a reference or more info please email me.

Provided by YP.comI started taking my son to Kiddie Academy of Henderson when he was 2 years old and have always had a great experience with the management and staff. The children receive great care and attention, engaging in age appropriate activities that are both fun and provide the valuable learning experiences they need as well as providing a good opportunity to develop social skills. The staff is attentive, caring and genuinely like being around children and have fun with the kids while they are there. My son enjoyed the time that he spent there and it definitely prepared him for kindergarten. I highly recommend Kiddie Academy of Henderson to anyone who is looking for great child care with a wonderful family oriented and family centered feel!

Provided by YP.comWhen you read all the good reviews about this daycare and you go there and receive the tour you think this is the best place and that they will take good care of your kids. But once you are in there in a routine day you can see all the wrong things they do with kids.
I was really concerned about leaving my 19 months old son in any daycare so before his first day I went to Kiddie Academy to spent a routine day before leave him there. While I was in the classroom seeing what they were doing, I saw how one of the ladies didn't put attention to one of little girls that fell, she just looked at her but never grabbed her and made her feel better. Also, when they were doing a painting activitie, she cleaned their hands with the same dirty towel she was cleaning the tables and everything. At this point I was still considering to enroll my kid in Kiddie Academy but the worst came when I was leaving and I saw how one of the young ladies in the other classroom grabbed and pulled really bad one of the little girls and sat her on the floor meanly while the other kids were crying. When I saw this I stay in the door watching how she was yelling at them, so I went to the front desk and told the lady what I saw and also let her know my concern about people with no patience working in there and treating the kids in that way, while we think they are in good care. Next thing, I asked for give me my contract back and left. Honestly the people who works in there doesn't look like they have the experience to really teach the kids all what they say. Also, the director was never there the 2 times I went and they also told me she is most of the time out of the daycare in activities of her daughters.

Provided by YP.comKiddie Academy exceeds all expectations of a great center. I have toured and been in a lot of centers! Kiddie Academy is very clean, organized and very family oriented. The owner/director is very involved in the everyday routine. She makes your children feel so welcomed and most importantly loved! The front desk makes it a point to know your child’s name and your name. The security is amazing and I can go to work everyday knowing my child is safe, loved, getting a lot of attention and learning! They have a great curriculum and small ratios! I wouldn’t take my child to any other center. Kiddie Academy is more then amazing it is like my child’s 2nd home.

Provided by YP.comKiddie Academy has always been like a 2nd home to my children. I was fortunate to find Kiddie Academy when they first opened upon the arrival of my first child. I have been able to watch them grow and change for the better over the past six years. When I had my second child, it only made sense to return to the place with all of the memories.
The owner and her staff are hands on and greet your child by name daily. I recommend to all of my friends and family.

Provided by YP.comOverall, this daycare is perfect for me. It is close to where we live. They are meeting the Nevada standards for pre-school. Plus, they are able to handle my daughter's dietary issues.
Most of the staff is friendly and are very responsive when I bring up a concern or complaint. Also, I love the webcam ability to watch my daughter's room.
The only issue I would raise is that I wish they would monitor the kids when the play outside, but then again... kids are kids and they like to play.
Definitely, would take all my kids there and have recommended it to several other families that are going there as well!
