The owner of this store, Shane Forrest, has horrible customer service. He sold me a defective part and became obnoxious when I attempted to return it for credit. He also attempted to talk me into over $1000 worth of repairs to my boat trailer; only to find out the trailer was fine. Another place fixed it for free and it took less than 20 minutes. In this economy businesses should want customer, not ripping them off. I WILL NEVER USE OR RECCOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

I went to this business with two needs. #1, my boat was not sitting properly on my boat trailer and was looking for direction on how to remedy it. #2, the wheel for the trailer (hard plastic wheel) melted from the extreme sun and blacktop. I spoke with the owner, Shane Forrest, who was very personable. He first looked at my boat trailer and told me the trailer was the wrong type for my boat. He explained how I needed to completely re-do the trailer as to not destroy the bottom of my boat. The cost for this would be over $1000. He then sold me a larger, and apparently stronger, wheel for the trailer. Two weeks later I returned to my storage place to discover this wheel had also melted or broke. I have never heard of this happening before and was completely dismayed. I returned to talk to Shane and get a replacement or credit towards another item. Shane was rude and dismissed my situation. He had no customer service and was completely obnoxious. Rather than working with his customer over a defective $35. item, he choose to provide NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I subsequently went to another boat shop that helped fix my wheel. While there I had them look at my trailer. Turns out the trailer is fine and did belong to my boat. The under boards needed a slight adjustment, which they did at no cost to me. When I told them what Shane wanted to do I was told Shane was simply trying to rip me off. In this economy any customer should be treated with respect and appreciation. This month I spent over $3000 on upgrades to my boat. This money could have been spent at Offshore but instead was spent at a place that treated me with respect. My complaint is Shane is selling defective equipment and offers not customer service. He is taking advantage of customers and should be put out of business. There is no room for businesses like this in today’s economy.

AFTER BUYING A BOAT FROM A DEALER IN BOULDER CITY AND NEEDING REPAIRS. I FOUND OUT THE DEALER COULD NOT FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM .I TOOK MY BOAT TO OFFSHORE MARINE TO HAVE IT FIXED AFTER 2 HOURS DIAGNOSE TIME AND A $57 PART I WAS UP AND RUNNING.I WILL ALWAYS USE OFFSHORE MARINE AGIN IN THE FUTURE FOR SERVICE,PARTS AND WHEN I BUY ANOTHER BOAT,JOHN
