As a first experience at a dedicated hat retailer I was unsure what to expect but I was greeted warmly by the staff and the experience was overall a good one. The clerk asked useful questions, gave nice suggestions and urged me to try previously unconsidered styles. Other customers were friendly and the environment promoted a sense of community. For those who are looking for a good customer experience and a respectable selection for its size this shop may be worth your while if you're in the downtown Henderson area.

INCARCERATION OF CHERIE DENISE LAWLAR aka DOROTHY TERRELL MENTIONED IN REVIEW THAT HAS VERY RECENTLY BEEN TAKEN DOWN: The other review I referred to in my review below by user Sha C.has been taken down. It had to have come off very recently, either late January or early February 2015. Anyway, Sha C. said that she had met Cherie in a "holding cell" and that they were then kept in the "same unit" during their incarceration together--yeah jail or prison! They kept in touch after and Sha C. bought the stock items for Cherie's hat store and Cherie had promised to pay her back, but after Cherie got the store set up she just ditched her end of the deal and never paid back anything. If I remember right that review also said that Cherie claims to be minister of some church somewhere, but that reviewer said church was "non-existent". That review ended by saying that Cherie was "a convict and a thief". Not sure why it was taken down, but if any of this is true--if it is, then it needs to stay here where it can be seen by people considering doing any kind of business with Cherie. Actually, it looks like I got off really, really lucky compared to a lot of people. The review that got taken take plus the other one currently posted here talk about much worse experiences. So I'm not going to repost my whole review, except to say that I have also dealt with Cherie and after the shifty and sleazy business tactics I experienced with her, I wouldn't even feel good going into a simple retail transaction, and there's no way, absolutely no way I would ever do any kind of business with her again.

BE WARNED. This women is a total scam. She use to act as a Bridal Consultant in San Diego. She used MANY different name and was sued by MANY different people. Total con artist. She even had the nerve to try and stop payment on a cashiers check by saying is was stolen.... Nice try CD Lawlar (aka: Dorothy Terrell). Do not trust this women with ANYTHING. She probably moved to Las Vegas because she was running out of options and names in San Diego

The owner is a giant money stealing scam artist. She has a giant list of lawsuits against her in San Diego. She creates businesses and then screws people out of their money. She ruined my friends wedding and scammed them out of money. She was also sued by Tony Gywnns family when she failed to provide services they paid for his son's wedding. Check San Diego County Court records if you don't believe. C D Lawlar, Cherie Lawlar....and several other variations

I was so happy when my son presented me with a hat from Christys' for my birthday. I have a huge collection of hats, all direct from Christys'. The hat immediately looked different. The label, box and quality were immediately questioned by my friend and I. She immediately told me that the hat must be fake. We contacted Christys' and they told us that they never made the hat and had no knowledge of the design. It was crazy because I am calling a business in another country about a fake hat that my son spent his hard earned money on. I contacted the store and the woman told me that since my son purchased it at an event a few months prior that it was passed the return date. I told her that the hat was an imposter. She told me to shut up, started yelling, and hung up. I have since filed a police report with Henderson police and they told me that they will have an investigator look into it. There is no justice in this world.

The owner was rude when I asked questions about the products. I have never been treated so poorly. I was unimpressed with the quality and think that is what escalated the attitude.

I went into this store not knowing what to expect & I fell in love with not only the store but how friendly everyone was. There's a difference between how are you today & being made to feel like you were someone special They made me feel like i was special.They educated me, the allowed me to play as they called it.I played so much I bought 4 hats, a sweater & earrings. I have been telling everyone about this store on Water St. in Henderson, N.V. (except my husband).I have to say I felt so guilty by not telling him (my husband) that I went back a couple of days later and bought him 2 hats and the other hat I had my I on.I say go and look around it's a fun store
