What a half baked practice. They had my wife floating around with temp crowns and had to reschedule because the crowns were ordered improperly. Then after all the pain and discomfort they offered to do both crowns at the same visit. So we agreed only based on the facts that the projected coverage of our insurance would not bring us out of pocket. We were assured we were within our limits. They neglected to inform us that there was a floating claim that was unpaid and this claim thus put us out of pocket $400.00. when I called to discuss this matter I could not get a straight answer and the office manager became upset and rude. My question was simple, as a responsible business it is their responsibility to make aware all outstanding balances and unpaid claims, so the patiend can make an informed decision about the procedures and insurance allowances. When I asked why were not made aware of the floating balance, I was told that " I am not allowing her to finish explaining" the only explanation was " we didn't know" , how is that possible. It is their business to manage these matters and their responsibility to inform the patient. Instead I receive an invoice , not in the patients name but in spouses name, and shows a past due balance with a late payment notification when we have never received an invoice previously. This office is a joke and manages their business very poorly. There is not bedside manner, the hours are ridiculous, and there is no one around to address the pain of a patient uneccessairily floating around with temp crowns because the office made a mistake.
