Do not take any of your equipment to ROB of REM. He will overcharge for services and your equipment will likely have bigger problems than before Rob or his mechanics touch it. They will deny deny deny they are at fault for anything.

Active BBB Complaint against owner.

Mower came in for a blade bolt that couldn't be removed, suggested to the customer that we just replace the shaft rather than waste anymore time trying to free up the bolt, he agreed, then said "other shops" told him (over the phone) that they could have done it cheaper? Lol, really? Do I even have to explain how stupid that is? His mower was fixed 2 days after he brought it to us for the blade problem, he couldn't pick it up for five days, while under our care we drove it out every morning, and drove it back inside every night for storage....the day before he was supposed to pick it up it wouldn't start, wouldn't crank, wouldn't do anything. One of my techs put a battery in it, still nothing so we pushed it inside and told this guy exactly what happened the next morning when he came to pick it up. Not really sure how the mower not starting 5 days after we did a 100% completely unrelated repair is "our" fault, but that's what this guy is claiming. PS the mower is 20 years old, and had a bunch of "creative" wiring done to it by another "mechanic" ....do you think that might have been the problem?? It was. Deny, deny, deny?? am I suppose to accept this BS and lies?? Negative. The only one in denial is you. Sheeze

These guys are great! I brought my mower a zero turn to three different shops, all took over three weeks to even look at the problem, all said it could not be fixed for a reasonable price...took it to REM, they agreed with the other shops that if the transmissions where slipping it would be very expensive, but before I even unloaded it off the trailer the mechanic took a look and realized that the belt tensioner was "binding up" he loosened a bolt, he greased it and had me on my way in 20 mins during the busy time of year! ...when I asked how much he said "don't worry about it" These are honest folks! I will take all of my business there from now on!

Hello, My name is Rob, I am the owner at REM. I would just like to address Mr Booker's rating. I have to admit I am a bit surprised, I thought Mr Booker left us a happy and satisfied customer. Originally he brought us a 20+ year old "worn out" push mower that ran very poorly, we advised him that based on the age and condition of the mower it would probably be best not to put any money into repairing it, he asked us to just do the best we could with it. We cleaned out the carb, replaced a carb diaphragm, replaced the spark plug, and adjusted everything as best we could, the mower ran fine when he came to pick it up, however we again advised him the compression was low and the engine was not very strong (the only way to "fix" that would be to re-build or replace the engine for $160-$180...this far exceeds the value of this particular mower) Mr Booker took his mower, and seemed very happy with they way it ran and the low bill he received. About one month later he returned with the mower and said "It still boggs down when I cut tall grass" ...there was no "second attempt" to fix his mower, this time he admitted that the grass he was trying to cut was "way too tall" - keep in mind not only is this mower over 20 years old but it is also only a 3.5hp Briggs (most mowers today are over 6hp) we simply reaffirmed what we told him the first time - the mower is very old and is not worth spending any more money on. He agreed and left with no second bill. Our motto "we fix anything" is true, but customer's trust us to let them know when it is not "cost effective" to fix something...we are very proud of this fact, instead of simply "fixing" your equipment and sticking you with an outrageous bill like other places, we advise our customers of ALL of their options to help them make an informed decision. Thank you, Rob and the REM team. ~~~~~~~~~~

I'm not really sure who LG is or what he is referring too. Any mower is fixable for a price, however some things are not worth fixing, I have no choice but to assume this was an older 2 stroke Lawn boy. Many parts are NOT available for these mowers anymore, however we may have been trying to find the parts anyway on behalf of the customer. If he took it somewhere else and they had and obsolete part or "used" part to fix it, that's great...we don't use "used" parts. That being said, we just started taking a $35 deposit on all equipment as of 5/1/2015 previous to that date we DID NOT take deposits, and NEVER charge ANYTHING for equipment that we determine can not be fixed. This review is a lie plain and simple. Our a+ rating and all other reviews reflect this. Thanks REM staff

We took our lawnboy lawnmower here to be fixed. They said it would be about 5 days. Two weeks later I called and they said it would be a bit longer. A couple of days later they called to say it could NOT be fixed and charged me $35. I took it elsewhere and they fixed it within the hour. I went here because of their better business bureau rating but this was terrible. Don't take anything here.

The motto of, :we fix it all" is certainly their best intention. My case involved a mower that was not fixable even after two attempts to fix it and is now the scrape mans machine.
