I purchased four kolaches (three extra nut, one extra poppy seed) this past Christmas as I've done for years. While they still taste wonderful I couldn't help noticing that they were all considerably smaller in size. Again, they tasted great but they've shrunk in size.

My sister got my birthday cake here is was awesome!!!!!!!!!1! I getting my sister cake here!!! Love the bakery with be back for cookies for thanksgiving

I bought a cake here for my son's birthday. It was awesome. I gave them a picture of the characters that my son wanted and it was recreated perfectly. And the best tasting cake I've had. I also bought cupcakes for my son's school party and they were also delicious. Other bakeries will only do the designs that they offer, Hermitage bakery will always do the design that my kids ask for. THe service is exceptional.

do not apply for employment here. if a family member is in the hospital and you ask for the day off they will fire you. they smoke while the bake the products. they smoke in the back where the products are finished. they dont use gloves while preparing food. and theres alot of flies and gnats in the pastries and cake cases. the choco drop cookies are made of week old doughnuts.

I wish I could give no stars because I would. If you would have asked me before (with over 2 years of prior business,) I would have said the bakery was awesome. However, after getting the last cake we got, I have to say that the cake was awful and even worse yet was the treatment we received when we tried to return it! Since I was the last person to taste the cake, I didn't even know how awful it was until everyone was served and about half the cake was gone. No one was rude enough to tell me how bad it was and then I tasted it! Eww, Crisco and flour! When I told the people at the bakery, they actually told me that there should be a whole cake to return since it was so bad. I explained that I had a houseful of people that I served before I even tasted it, but no dice. As it was, I returned half the cake to them and still, no credit, no refunds, no satisfaction and that was by order of the owner herself. I will NEVER buy from them again, bad business.

Cake made wrong. No offer to fix it or even discount it. Never again!

They're cakes are very good, excellent. Have gotten cakes from them over the past 2 years and they have never disappointed me yet.
