Hermosa Valley School is one of California's most distinguished schools that serves students in grades three through eight and offers a range of educational services. Its academic curriculum includes social studies, computers, journalism, mathematics and technology education. The school s library organizes book fairs and has a large collection of books, magazines, newspapers and reference materials. It provides a variety of athletic activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball, soccer and softball. In addition, the school offers a range of extracurricular activities and student organizations, including a student council, chess and builders' clubs, science camps and student newspaper groups. The school is a part of the Hermosa Beach City School District.
