Friendly and welcoming -coming in for the first time a little over year ago I never felt snobbyness you get at some salons. My experience has been 5 STAR every visit. I am very busy and run a tight schedule. Dwayne takes the TIME, never makes you feel rushed, yet with his quick precision cutting you are in and out in a timely manner. He also knows his stuff, so when looking for a new look, he make recommendations based on your features and unique hair -so if that style won't work for you, he tells you. I cannot tell you how FABULOUS that is. To me my style will work EVERYTIME I do it myself after I leave. I LOVE this gem, this Salon is Hernando Beaches little secret. The staff is wonderful I recommend this for anyone seeking a change in their salon! barb avery

When I approached the salon, I was very apprehensive. Being from a big city and going to high end salons all the time and suddenly seeing a small salon nestled within a motel was shocking. Buutttttt, my apprehension quickly passed as Christopher expertly turned my unmanagable hair into absolute perfection with a keratin treatment. His animated personality got me through the 3 hour process with ease. The salon stayed open an extra hour so my hair could be transformed. Finally when it was time to pay...i was pleasantly surprised to receive the proper shampoo and conditioner for followup absolutely free, a $40 value!!!! I will be returning and recommending this place. Thank you Contempo

Who would have thought that a salon as good as the best found in NY and LA would be tucked away in the beach community of Hernando Beach. This salon can hold its own with any of those big city places. The staff is talented, warm and friendly. Today I had the most awesome experience with colorist, Christopher. He made me feel beautiful with a refreshed color and style, while Liz did my manicure and pedicure. Liz allowed me the freedom to express my wilder side with bright colors and lots of bling. The best thing about this staff is that they LISTEN to you and then help you achieve the best you there is. The salon provides services to both men and women, so guys don't hesitate to try this gem of a place. I was also pleasantly surprised at how reasonable their pricing was. There isn't anything negative that I can think of about Contempo Salon Day Spa.

I was so pleased to find Contempo. When we relocated from the northeast I knew it would be difficult to replace my stylist but I had no idea how difficult. Contempo uses the elegant Italian product line that makes my hair feel healthy and youthful. They have the skill to provide the precision style I love and work with me whenever I'd like a change. Their on the water location is an added bonus. Having a pedicure with a canal view is so relaxing. They are a full service salon from head to toe and I believe anyone who tries them will find themselves smiling from ear to ear, including the gents.

Great Salon! Very Friendly, Extremely knowledgeable, and fantastic service all the way around. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants to look great and have a good time while doing so.
