Crossfield Elementary School is a part of Fairfax County Public Schools. Located in Herndon, Va., the school provides education to students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Established in 1988, it has an enrollment of approximately 800 students and instructional staff of over 60 members. Crossfield Elementary School s parent-teacher organization promotes open communication and a working partnership between the administration, teachers and parents. The school s core curriculum includes English, math, science, language arts and social studies. It also provides band, speech, art, reading and physical education classes. Crossfield Elementary School organizes picture makeup days, skate nights, and band, string and chorus concerts.
