Herscher High School offers classes to students in grades nine through 12, and serves more than 700 students. The school offers various subjects, such as English, business studies, social studies, family and consumer science, agriculture, mathematics, psychology, physics, chemistry and biology, industrial and information technologies, health care and physical education. It also provides classes in fine arts, music and vocational education, including drivers training. The school also has a jazz band, choir, and speech and mathematics clubs. Its sports activities include basketball, football, softball, soccer, volleyball, cross-country, wrestling, and track and field and also has a cheerleading team. Herscher High School has a parent-teacher association that assists in various school activities. It also provides counseling, health and medical care, transportation and meal services to students.
