Woodmere Middle School offers education to students in grades six through eight. It provides a wide range of amenities, such as science laboratories equipped with water and gas, a computer lab with Internet access and a library media center. The school s central area has assembly rooms, an auditorium, a gymnasium and two cafeterias. The school also provides various sports amenities that include a football and soccer field, hardball and softball fields, and five tennis and two handball courts. It organizes various programs, such as history performances, presentations and fairs, science research on display, stock market re-enactments, bridge building projects and visual math experimentation. Woodmere Middle School is a division of the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools and has its campus in Hewlett, N.Y.
