I do all my shopping at this Publix and always have fresh produce and good grocery quality - BUT, I have repeatedly had bad experiences with their bakery on ALL custom orders I have ever placed...this past week I placed an order, picking out a design from their book, for a Disney Frozen themed cake, and when we picked it up it was HORRIBLE - the decorating looked as though it had fallen over or someone had put their fingers through it or maybe it had been messed up and they tried to fix it with blobs of icing all over - it was AWFUL! They even refunded $8 decorating fee as soon as they brought it out to me, without saying anything else - to me, this was an admission that they knew it was unacceptable, but $8 did not fix the fact that we were on our way to the party and had nothing but that awful, messed up cake, and they didn't even offer to try and fix it, make us another, NOTHING... I had to open up one of my daughter's presents that contained miniature figures of the characters from Frozen and put the figures on the cake.. not cool at all.
