When I started in 1986 my business plan was different than most. I had witnessed the "fly-by-night," part-time truck and ladder sub-contractors that delivered work well below my standards or expectations. My concept was different. My expectations should be my customers' expectations and if I'm not willing to settle for "sub par" then my customers shouldn't have to either. My concept was and still is, customer first! To do this, it meant I needed to be able to offer quality products installed by trained employee labor and provide after sale service. Plus, have an actual place of business where potential customers could come in and actually experience their home improvement project by viewing full-size displays, seeing real life examples of what their project could look like, and receiving the assistance of our knowledgeable design and home improvement specialists.
