Please save yourself some stress and time. They are totally unprofessional and do not take care of their places whatsoever.

Carolina Heritage Realty IS the worst rental company I have ever had to work with. We lost half our deposit because Tracy didn't show up to the house until at least a week after we left the property. We were charged for all sorts of yard work. We were charged for cleaning that we had already done to the house because it was required by the lease. We were charged for flea removal even though we paid a $200 nonrefundable pet deposit.

In that week that it took for Tracy to come to the house, it rained EVERY day and it was above 80 degrees every day so the grass probably went wild, but I got charged for it.

Also: I was told that every sort of cleaning, extermination and such had been done to the house when I moved in. He lied about putting in a new air filter. We had an ant problem the entire time we lived there, and the house was FULL of black mold when we moved in. BUT I had to pay for all of his cleaning supplies for when I left the house, even though I had already cleaned everything, including carpet cleaning (which I did). Where is my money for the cleaning supplies that I paid for when I moved in Tracy? I'll tell you where it is... lining your filthy, two-faced, liars pockets.

Save yourself the headache and the heartache of dealing with these awful people, including his incredibly RUDE secretary.

Looked at a property that had all the walls covered in holes from the previous tenant, the bathrooms werent clean and the guest bathroom toilet didnt flush. They gave me lip about it when i came back with the key telling them what I found and that i wasnt going to be cleaning the house at all prior to signing a lease. They said no deal even though they charged a cleaning fee to all tenants that comes out of your deposit funny thing is the people before me probably paid that fee but it was obviously not done. I cant begin to tell you how many rental companies pull this on people because NC has weak tenant laws and you got to have big bucks to take them on in court. Stay far away from these guys they are just another unethical property management organization.

The maintenance staff doesn't work after five and they leave a huge mess when the leave. They used to have a good lawn service and now they don't, weed killer is the name of the game. Even though you have to pay a "cleaning deposit" before you move in, you have to clean to move in. You have to seriously wonder exactly what they are billing the owners for in that monthly statement they send them.
