I had some boots widened at the calf and they fit well and look like nothing was even changed about them. Also had a belt and purse repaired there. I will definitely bring my repairs back to this shop.

For several years now I have taken many things to City Shoe for repair. I've had heels and toes fixed on shoes, shoes dyed, a leather coat refurbished, luggage, pack n play and several of my daughter's beloved stuffed animals all repaired. It's always done right, on time and at a reasonable price. And, they're really nice! If you're not sure if what you have can be fixed, go anyway because most likely they can.

I swore off ever using City Shoe Shop a few years ago. I and most customers gasped in unpleasant surprise when the charges were announced. The crowning incident was once when a repair was promised less than a week after I left the shoes. I went in a week later and they had no record of the shoes. Just then I noticed them being worked on. When I returned, they had installed the wrong soles, yet charged a bundle and DID NOT APOLOGIZE for any of their errors. I asked for a little compensation, like a $7 bottle of water repellent. They refused. If you want arrogance and overcharging, use this business.

I purchased a quality handbag with an ink mark on the leather strap. I thought I had ruined it by applying hairspray to it which made it worse. The manufacturer’s website said ink could not be removed from the leather. To my dismay City Shoe Repair was able to remove the entire ink mark. There is no trace of it left. They were very courteous and I received the handbag back the same day. I give them an A++.Debbie Hickory
