So sorry for your experience. The grumpy guy you speak of has retired.

Guy at counter said he could help me with my problem, took time to understand what I needed, said I needed to go back and get the other part so that he could measure for the corrrect length shaft. Drove hour and half round trip to get part from tiller, guy who helped me first was at lunch, old geezer behind counter immediately began being negative and said there is no way, we cant do this, it would probably not work, he would have to order the parts, it would be expensive, negative negative negative.
