I got my "Angel" from a rescue. She had horrible breath...knock over an elephant yet she was the sweetest and cutest little creature. I took her to no less than 3 vets in upstate NY. Asked them to address the problem via teeth, fecal culture, etc. No one found anything...yet she was tugging on her jaw. Took her to Springs Rd for boarding and asked the lovely lady vet to see if she saw anything. Angel had a severely infected wisdom tooth and she pulled it. I trust this lady to go the extra mile for my little girl. The cat is happy now too :o)

Ive been to this vet office plenty of times. The techs are awesome and the vet is really great. They take very good care of all my pets, and i've never had a problem. The other people leaving reviews are probably just ignorant when it comes to the best interest for their pets. I would choose srah over any vet office in catawba county. Maybe the other people leaving reviews should go to another vet and pay high dollar prices and find out less about their pets.

I have been to this place a few times with different pets. The office staff is extremely rude and incompetent. They never got the spelling right on my dog's name, messed up his rabies record, and completely messed up his heartworm record. I actually thought the vets there were ok, but I never came in for anything serious. I still don't plan on going back there. I would rather pay more and go somewhere else.

I took an 18 y/o Cairn terrier to this practice. She was my daughter's 12th Christmas present. She helped me raise my children. She was incontinent of bowel and bladder -- had to be confined during the day while I worked because of this. She never played with any of the family or our other Cairn. She only slept. She couldn't make it up two steps from the yard to the patio. She wasn't having a great quality of life. I should have noted the unfriendly reception that I received over the phone when I mentioned that I felt that I needed to put her down, but I thought that any vet would understand given her age and circumstances. I saw Dr. Zendel. She said that she didn't need to be put down until she couldn't eat and drink. She proposed pain meds, estrogen to help the incontinence. She was rigid and inflexible. She judged me. She decided how I needed to live my life -- and the quality of life of a dog that I raised for 18 years. She charged $150.00. It was a rip-off.

I took my pet to this vet for several years. For one they could never get the sex of my dog correct even though they were the ones who neutered my dog. Over the last few months my dog had been sick. Dr. Zendel would give me different medications to give to my dog without really answering my questions or seeming sure of the treatment. I asked them to do blood work on my dog about a month ago. They did and told me everything was fine except his thyroid. They said he had a low thyroid I asked if this was why he was not eating. They neglected to tell me was that my 12 yr old dog had high kidney levels. They ignored this. When I could not take their incompetence anymore I went to another vet. First thing they asked me was about his kidney levels. I had no clue because Dr. Zendel had not told me she told me everything was fine. My dog died of KIDNEY FAILURE. She could have saved him. I am filing a complaint with the State vet board. but I feel like other pet owners should know about this
