I wish I could give them ZERO ...

I wish I could give them ZERO stars!!!!!!

This place is a madhouse, the staff is VERY rude and untrustworthy!!! And when I say rude, I mean REALLY RUDE!!

I live in Hicksville, not even a mile from this place, and still prefer to drive all the way to Queens just so I can shoot for 1 hour or so.

My wife also likes to shoot, but she refuses to go to this place!!! Great way to keep people AWAY from archery! We used to leave in Queens and I'm glad we started shooting there, otherwise I don't think we would still be shooting.

We purchased some arrows for my wife from C&B, and they were terrible, whoever did the fletching, didn't really know what they were doing, and they used the wrong nock also!!! And for last, it cost way more than I would have paid for BETTER arrows in Queens.

So, if you want to give Archery a try, please do, but do yourself a favor and drive to Queens!

Don't let the misspelling of their name in the superpages.com listing fool you. This business is owned and operated by the greatest people anyone could ever do business with, and they are more competent and courteous toward their customers than any archery range in the NYC area. It's worth the trip out to Hicksville to shoot here. Their fees are inexpensive, and they offer so many extras for free. They love archery, and they love their clients. This is an excellent place for entire families to shoot or just try it out for the first time. They have a party room for private kids' parties with a day at the range. Their equipment is superb, they offer great deals on equipment you buy there (or they'll do special orders), and they're very supportive. Ralph Allocco and John Hargreaves are the people you want to learn archery from. Anyone else on hand at C&B is also excellent. Safety comes first here, and skill is what you leave with... It will get better every time you go to C&B. Grab a bow!
