We are here to serve our community by providing artistry and technique through correct training in dance. At Woodbury Studio of Dance Arts we offer the better chance for our students to become professional dancers in the future. Since opening our doors in January of 1957, we have turned out many dance professionals who have gone on to do theatre and join dance companies as well as students who have entered college on dance scholarships. Our goal is to prepare young students in dance, with freedom and joy, to be self-supportive in the arts. We love our students and we love to teach. We are a family business, family oriented and work with the individual Anne Telasco of New York City brings to the Woodbury Studio of Dance Arts in Hicksville a rich and varied background in theatre, Broadway and television. Beginning her professional career at the early age of sixteen, she appeared as a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall. Going on to Broadway to such shows as "Where's Charley?" "Anne Get Your Gun," and "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes." Some of her many television appearances include the Ed Sullivan Milton Berle and Perry Como shows. Recently Mrs. Telasco completed a successful tour of Europe, dancing in such cities as Paris, Genoa, and Venice, Italy
