On the day I first called, I was very frustrated from my interactions with other body shops, and I had just left Caliber from a scheduled appointment that did not happen. I waited around for 20 minutes (after my appointment time), watched the estimator walk by me to help someone else, and so I left. After I left, I called Highland Auto Body and talked to Becky. Without knowing what had just happened to me, she was able to put me at ease with her courteous, professional, and respectful customer service skills.



A couple of weeks later, when I actually brought my car in for repairs, I caught them at a bad time. Brian was in the front office alone with 4 people already in the lobby and the phones ringing. He still found a way to greet me with a smile and let me know that he would take care of me as soon as possible, right when I walked in the door. Brian used the same courteous, professional, and respectful customer service skills to help everybody and to keep everybody happy and content until Becky and Jim returned to the office from picking up materials and taking care of other customers. Becky and Jim started helping Brian as soon as they walked in and everybody was promptly taken care of in courteous and professional manner. They even offered me coffee or water and Becky remembered our phone conversation from weeks before.



My car is beautiful again, and it was completed in the time frame discussed from day one.



Everybody at Highland Auto Body is an example of true (and seemingly forgotten) customer service skills. They displayed courteous, upbeat, professional and respectful customer service skills through every phone call and in-person visit from the day I first called, until the day I picked up my car. Courtesy, professionalism, customer service, and respectful-interpersonal relationships appear to be the foundation of organizational culture that has been created at Highland Auto Body. I am glad they still believe in the importance of interpersonal relationships and true customer service.
